The fact that about 7 different players are mentioned as potential breakouts in this thread bodes well for the program. There is a lot of talent on the roster.

Yep. Plenty of opportunity and minutes available - there will be a few players that breakout this season.

Starting to think that Cliff should play 32 minutes and the other 8 should be small ball style lineups with Dean or Chol in there and able to stretch the floor.
I've had the same thought for a while.... Cliff plays 32 mpg and go "small" when he's not on the court.

I didn't expect to see Chol vying for minutes thinking he's reclassifying so maybe a red shirt candidate for this year. it will fun to watch the competition for minutes if Chol is a factor. This will solidify our depth and the guys who are consistent with D and rebounding will play more because last year it wasn't always there.

Loved Chol's tape and was trying to get the board excited about him. Go back and check it out if you haven't. He is tall long and skilled. Elite ceiling

Why redshirt anyone in the current environment? very few guys even stay 4 years.

I find any reference to Maiscei Grier pretty funny, but he is a real person so that isn’t the best taste cracking jokes about him and FHJ

How about none? It stopped being amusing after it was used the first 100 times.

If you're gonna overuse the same stupid joke make it funny, like this one....

None would be ideal but I'm trying to find a compromise here lol

Speaking about jokes , didn’t we hear about Peter Kiss being a “breakout “ player when he arrived here ? Big difference between doing it in practice and doing it under the “ bright lights”

It’s preseason - every team has great chemistry, everyone is a breakout waiting to happen and every team is going undefeated.

I just watched one minute of Nets practice and pretty sure Ben Simmons is going to lead the league in 3pt shooting.

True but it's better to hear someone is looking good in practice then not looking good

Actually, this is the deepest team we’ve had in quite a while. As long as Cliff stays injury free, we will again be a top 4 team in conference and a definite tournament team.

Maybe, we need someone to step up scoring. Replacing Ron isn’t easy.
