well that's a pleasant surprise...I'd like to see at least 50K for this (assuming decent weather)...
agree. But once we start winning constantly 12pm games will be events.
people like night games cause they can tailgate longer. When we start winning casual fans will come for the football instead of the tailgates

Sunset should be around 6:50 so gonna be nice for the game. Hopefully we have beautiful tailgating weather.
I just looked at the RU site for tickets. The place ain't gonna be rocking unless those tickets get sold. 3/4 of the stadium still has tix available
I think a lot of us were waiting on time of game. Should be Louisville type of atmosphere!!

The Friday Nebraska game is already a blackout.
I hear what you’re saying, but I think there are three things that are really going to ramp up interest.
1. Favorable game time (check)
2. Beat Temple
3. Decent weather
Need to take care of business vs Temple then it has a chance to be a fun atmosphere

there is no red in the seat selection map..so I’m assuming you’re looking at the map of the sections themselves.. Within those red sections there are a hand of tickets left.
I’d say about 75% of the seats are sold.
your claim that 3/4 of the sections have tix available is certainly true…but not as bad as you make it seem cause within those 3/4 there are only some scattered available
Yes, I know. There cannot be too many blackouts, IMO. I realize some don't like them.
if there were too many, it would lose its luster. There should only be one every year.
This is huge ! Gosh just a little bit of winnning makes things infinitely more enjoyable !
we have the Neb Fri night game as a Blackout. Which I’m good with one.
but people shouldn’t forget how awesome the all red crowd with white pom poms looks under the lights. Way better visual on TV and photos than the blackout. Just stands out a lot more.
Plus, Iowa is black and gold. It would end up looking like a stadium full of Iowa fans. (which, by the way, based on their message board there will be a lot of)
Could see the atmosphere being similar to the Michigan Kemoko block game. I missed this.

This. They should just put a white “shaker” at EVERY seat in the stadium. Much easier than handing them out all over the place IMHO.
Amazing news. I don’t think too many of us were expecting this. I will be there early in my parking spot and wearing red.
This time slot just opened up a whole lot of people's availability for the game.
