You care why? Is he a relative? If you care so much care about some of our players who suffer injuries here or after. Some just love to feel and self promote they “ care more”. Sounds familiar to daily life.
Some are interested
Not worth arguing

An idiot fantasy baseball manager tried to trade him to me for 2 of my closers. I’d rather have Elroy Jetson, at least wouldn’t harm my batting average.
He was injured and has only had 66 AB's for the year. He is a pretty decent player.

Best of Luck,
Groz

And this is Rutgers news? Terrible to get injured but why should Rutger’s fan board care about this. If it were one of our current or another’s current players then perhaps It would be relevant. He’ll rehab and be fine .

He will and keep this thought in mind. ACL surgery has come leaps and bounds in both surgical techniques and training in the past 20 years. Also , rehab plays a great part . That and the desire of an athlete to overcome adversity. The human body ‘s response is key .

That is something we all can agree on, although from what I read, rehab is not fun. When I was a kid watching sports, when a guy suffered an injury like this he was almost done or at least never the same player again. That's not the case now.

I actually side with @RUBOB72 and couldn't care less about Liddell, his NBA career or his recovery.
He could not play another minute of basketball and I wouldn't know.
However, there might be others here who do care.
Many people care about players from our fellow conference members.

I don't care or follow recruiting at all. If there was never another "Rutgers made the Top 3/5/10 for Player X" then I wouldn't even notice. But others do care. I'm not going into those threads and telling them how dumb they are for caring if Rutgers made the Top 10 for a player likely not to come here.

You are fortunate RUPete never to have undergone rehab. Most who play sports ( almost every sport) and even in everyday life at some point suffer an injury which would require medical intervention in order to recover. In his case I would expect a return to the level prior to his injury. The point is understood by me some do care . In this case though there are far worse injuries which the player could have suffered. I would rather have seen more discussion on Toure who suffered the same .

Looked at his 162 game average and you are right. I have never had him so not overly familiar. Still wouldn’t trade Hensley and Doval for him when JD Martinez is the guy Elroy would replace. (Until an injury hits)

This wasn’t about siding .We seem to be in the siding mode now in this country. For the most part all are guilty to some extent. The truth is sports have overtaken the important issues. It was once an outlet to fun, relaxation and competition. Now when someone disagrees with a posting the vitriol is exposed and reversed towards the person who isn’t interested in a subject . I follow Rutgers that is my team. I no longer follow pro sports and I played many them .All fairly competently. Better than most. And later in life had the surgeries unavailable back in the 60’s .

Not what the perhaps was referencing...was referring to you saying if one of our players blew an ACL then "perhaps" we would be talking about it. If Luke Nathan had a bad case of diarrhea there would be 6 threads on it - no "perhaps" about it.

You don’t offend me since it makes no difference to me whether you care for me or not? Too much fake caring about a player who may or may not play in the NBA. The phony I care so much this kid wouldn’t give you the time of day in most instances. Too funny.
Dude, just drop it already. Its clear you are in the minority here. I found the thread - before you started whining - more interesting than most of the posts on this board the last few months.
And while your hyper cynical view of people "caring" about the well being of others is... Interesting?... I am not suggesting I "care" about Liddel's health. In fact my first thought on seeing the thread was it might be a benefit for RU since I didn't know Liddel left OSU. So not only is it an interesting thread, I actually learned something. Well, 2 things actually. Liddel is no longer at OSU; and you... Well, nevermind.

A little sensitive for a Sunday morning westcoast? Best part of this is it took you two days to complain about it. Oh and the “ dude “ comment save it for your bro’s . Nobody gives two shats about Liddel other than a few. I wished him a good recovery and he will but some of you ex jocks fawn over things which mean very little to most . Only on a sports board , a free board, would you CARE so much.

It has OT, plus the players name and injury all in the title. Don't click then.

I care more about this news than I care about you not caring and telling people what they should care about and not care about. In.additional, I don't care for your screen name.
Why waste the key strokes on him? The ignore button is a beautiful thing. I rarely use it, but that idiot was put on years ago.

How many times has the guy who claims to have no interest posted on this thread?

I like that the person saying "and this is Rutgers news?" is also frequently posting in a thread about a Jim Harbaugh quote.

How is that Rutgers news??
