And this is Rutgers news? Terrible to get injured but why should Rutger’s fan board care about this. If it were one of our current or another’s current players then perhaps It would be relevant.He’ll rehab and be fine .

But he wasn’t a player from Rutgers . Sucks bigtime but others have worse things happen and derail their lives. Wishes and dreams are great but unfortunate as this is he’s a young guy who could return to playing next season.Did he receives a degree from “THE”?

You care why? Is he a relative? If you care so much care about some of our players who suffer injuries here or after. Some just love to feel and self promote they “ care more”. Sounds familiar to daily life.
Another wanna feel good . Go visit some people who really need sympathy and encouragement. There are millions other than another athlete who suffers an unfortunate injury.
Always amazes me that someone who has no interest in a thread will read thread so they can tell us they’re not interested.
If you really take this much offense, you need serious professional help. I care because I'm a Rutgers basketball fan who has followed his career and am interested in how Big Ten alums do. Also, I'm a human who isn't searching for something or someone to be angry at. Bully for you and all of your injuries. Obviously some have been brain injuries. (I had an ACL tear in my twenties which was not successfully reconstructed, along with some other pretty bad ones that were.)
Offense? No just the reality of why people do get tired of hearing about players who never played here . Follow Rutgers guys and I’ll be all in. This wanting to check other former B1G players makes little sense. And yeah bully for me since I overcame those surgeries just as this kid will.

What awards has this free board won in the past almost 20 years? So for most it is only a Rutgers opinion that we are magnanimous and respected as a sports board. Richie has a great product which we all enjoy . This is not about how much traffic or volume the site produces . I have seen this player and I’m sorry he was injured but there are hundreds of players who suffer the same or worse. Tough road but he’ll be fine going forward. If this was Rutgers player then yes lament the injury all you want otherwise it means absolutely nothing in total context. We all give too much time to sports vs. the things which make a difference in life. The fake cry of “ I care “ has become over the top. Care about important things . The things that impact everyone in this country .

I'm actually interested in his career because of the Cubs connection. Trade turned out badly long term for us, it was okay in 2017 when Quintana was the missing piece to get us jumpstarted and get to the NLCS.

HaHaHa … learned a long time ago there are many wonderful Rutgers alums and fans. Also learned some carry a great amount of hubris even towards other Rutgers supporters. It’s fine to be proud of the school , it’s accomplishments , history and all that goes with it but it’s only another school.
I am taking a break from them, but I'll consider coming back to him sometime in the future
