ND and Stanford are the 2 best choices for B1G. No doubt!I still say sont sleep on the no 6 media market. Take Cal and Stanford, Will have 5 of the top 6 markets in the fold.
then Notre Dame has one more reason to join up.

If the PAC12 survives, I’m gonna guess the PAC 12 networks will go the way of the dodo. One thing the Pac 12 has going for it is the Pac 12 network - The Big XII doesn't have a similar network. The Pac 12 network has been a problem since so few providers actually carry the network. However, the network does provide a lot of visibility to the non-revenue sports that the Big 12 doesn't offer.
I just typed this and there you go from the Ross Dellenger article I posted in the other threads. If the PAC12 survives, I’m gonna guess the PAC 12 networks will go the way of the dodo.
You could say the exact same thing about Rutgers. If Rutgers had not been invited when it was, right now we'd be having lengthy discussions about whether it would be best to (a) reconstitute the Big East football conference, (b) try to "escape" to the ACC after the SEC and Big Ten take all the power teams, (c) remain in the AAC, or (d) just drop D1 sports altogether.BTW, not for nothing for Cal is for Cali what Temple is for Phily. It only seems like a no brainer if you are not from there.
the Cal Bears are more like Temple or Uconn. They are a god awful fit for the Big Ten and not even the Big 12 would want them.
If the Pac-12 goes away, I would not be shocked if they drop football.
