Wasn’t bragging at all. Responded to the OP, as I not only like this board and most of the posters here (besides you!) AND really like Rutgers hoops, but also Illinois’ Rivals board is not free. You’re the one who got combative out of nowhere.
Times are a changing and the once terrible RU MBB program has changed into a good one that should get even better under its current HC.
So act superior all you want over past history, but know that's not the way it is now.
Feel fairly assured for the present, RU is improving , but not quite there yet to be a B1G title contender.
It's the future you and your school needs to worry about
as Satchel Paige aptly put it :

Sorry you misunderstood. I wasn’t trying to denigrate RU. I love Pike and Rutgers is easily my favorite team to root for besides my own. Just pointing out to one of your esteemed board members that mocking a team for not advancing to a sweet 16 is a bit odd for fan of a team that hasn’t done it in decades.
This OP is very strange. Normally, if someone posts about a recruit who signed at another school it's someone Rutgers was actively recruiting. Rutgers was not trying to sign him. This thread about an Illinois recruit came out of no where....it does not belong here. Why should we care? Just my opinion.
