Eddy was awful. Couldn’t make a shot. Kept dropping the ball. Williams played much better. They needed to feed him earlier and more. How about Matt Painter, when he has a 7’4” center that has about 8 inches on his defender and disrupts things at the other end, yet only plays him 16 minutes.
He turned it over too much, but he was 5-7 from the floor…he’s such a difference maker at the defensive end and probably the best rebounder in the country. Painter had to find a way to get the two bigs on the court together, but never did it. Edey is way too good to only play 16 minutes against an undermanned team unless he’s in foul trouble, but he committed none.Eddy was awful. Couldn’t make a shot. Kept dropping the ball. Ivey is a one trick pony. I said that after our 2nd Purdue game when the refs totally bailed out his ****** drives all night. Where my Purdue boys at now lol!Ivey and Davis from Wisconsin are the 2 most over rated players in the league.
Ivey is 1 dimensional, just driving to the basked.
Davis did NOTHING for his team in the NCAAs, missed shot after shot after shot.
Edey sucks as well, can't catch, has no touch, slow as molasses
The play that killed them the mostHow about Stefanovic diving on the floor and fouling a guy on a loose ball 40 feet from the basket with 3 seconds on the shot clock. Smh

Did you watch the last 6 minutes. Williams was fed and he regurgitatedEddy was awful. Couldn’t make a shot. Kept dropping the ball. Williams played much better. They needed to feed him earlier and more.
Curbello may be the most frustrating player in the B1G. There's no middle ground, It's either showtime or a disaster. He looked like Curbello tonight
Edey’s numbers are better than Williams…better rebounder (he’s the #1 offensive rebounder in the country), better FG%, fewer turnovers, more blocks. Williams passes the ball better, but that’s about it. But again, I don’t see how they couldn’t have played Williams at the 4 some and got them out there together.Inch for inch, Edey is the worst player in B1G - so overrated. Painter plays him way too much instead of Williams who is a real pro.
Ivey made the 3 pointer near the end of the game to give Purdue a chance for taking the game into overtime. His overall performance was abysmal similar to Purdue as a team that struggled to score 64 points.Ivey played the worst game of his college career. Totally forcing everything. Purdue played the dumbest basketball I have seen in some time in last 3 minutes. Purdue pissed that game away!
both teams in the locker room at halftime, making preparations for the second halfWhat a great game by St. Peters. Totally took Purdue out of their offensive rhythm.
Painter got outcoached big time…but Edey absolutely sucked last night. He had some points but had at least 5 turnovers, couldn’t hold onto the ball and missed a bunch of chippies. He may have altered some shot, but he had 1 block and 2 rebounds in 17 minutes. How about Matt Painter, when he has a 7’4” center that has about 8 inches on his defender and disrupts things at the other end, yet only plays him 16 minutes.
There was one play later I the second half where Edey was very close to a loose ball and he didn’t get to it before a St Peter’s player. He looked like he was moving half as fast as his opponent. Glacially slow.
If you’re talking about the play near the end of the game that was Gillis. It was a tough break because the little guy on St Peter’s is much quicker than anyone on the floor so he squeezed himself between Gillis and the ball. How about Stefanovic diving on the floor and fouling a guy on a loose ball 40 feet from the basket with 3 seconds on the shot clock. Smh

Definitely should have kept his feet but you’re being a little harsh. Purdue was seriously out hustled by st Petes. Gillis was the ONLY guy making hustle plays down the stretch but in that spot he tried to do too much. Plus as I said in his mind he gets to that ball 99 times out of a hundred but he’s not used to playing little quick guys like that. It happens. It happened at a bad time but it happens all of the time in the heat of the moment. You watch enough games to know this.Just zero awareness of the situation. The ball got tapped loose with 4 seconds on the shot clock, and you're diving in traffic for it? Stay on your feet and it's a shot clock violation. Basketball IQ of 0 there.
Lost the game because of EdeyEddy was awful. Couldn’t make a shot. Kept dropping the ball. Williams played much better. They needed to feed him earlier and more.
He needs to attend a fundamentals camp over the summerEdey is worse than 34-year-old Westbrook. Air-ball and TO machine.
