he missed his previous then ron missed his which was wide open for him to hit, not a fan of that play never was and almost always happens way too late where there is zero shot at a rebound and putback.. You saw how ND got to the rim on both plays and we cant at all...just disappointing

I thought coaches dreamed of drawing up the game winning play at the end of the game? How many games has Rutgers lost with the Geo Iso as time runs out? He dribbles the clock down and forces a low percentage shot as time expires,... If Pike wanted Geo to take the last shot, you have to think that drawing up a play to get him a good look would have a lot more chance of success than that damn Iso play?
I just hope next year Pike doesn't pass his end of game Iso play to someone else.

Pike had moved away from the ISO as the season progressed, and then fell into an old habit tonight. But, to be fair, he ran the side screen for Ron and got him a wide open look. Anyway, I think the ISO died last night. That was a Geo thing.

I thought for sure that slip out to Ron was going down. The rebound after was great, but I don’t know why you don’t call a timeout there. Can’t go home with it. Get your ducks in a row and call your best play.

In an end game situation I would prefer Ron taking it to the hoop if he possibly can
You either get the basket or a foul call
The refs allowed Ron to be physical to the basket most of the game and we just needed them to be consistent on a game winning play such as that

People focus way too much on the last 10 seconds. They were fine. Harper had a wide open three right before that.

The real problem is Geo jacked up bad shots on the two (? - at least one) possessions before because of this false belief in being “hot”

Never could stand that ISO play for Baker. Four guys standing around while he runs the clock too far down & then more often than not has to force up a tough shot. Really like Pike, but hopefully he cans that BS after Baker leaves.

Look who it is ? The Geo hater. You disappeared after the Iowa game and unusually silent ad he hit big shot after big shot to put us in position to win and gave Ron a gorgeous pass for the win with 20 seconds but Ron remarkably missed a wide open shot which he was not doing most of the game. You are a damn terrible hater. Go root for another team. Geo can play on my team every damn day. Crickets when you are wrong and come out of the woodwork after a devastating loss. You suck

I guess you missed the 2 he hit just earlier to tie it up or give us the lead or the out of bounds shot to cut it to 63-62. He obviously felt like he had it going. After the rebound after Ron’s incredible open miss , you take it down and either score to win or go OT. It looked like he was going to drive past to the rim but he lost control of the ball and then settled for his step back that looked good but came up short. Criticism is easy when shot doesn’t go down. Then criticize every big shot he hit on the second half.

Years of Geo missing that shot and I have been posting that for years. You knew he was going to miss it as soon as you saw Geo start dribbling. Admit it, we all knew. But hey, you did point out the game winner he drained against Iowa? Wait….

This is my issue. For all the achievements under Pike..and yes, they are clear. HE has to show the same development as the head coach that he expects of his players.
His offense , his in bounds, and his late game play design are all lacking any real development. His rotations too to some extent. Too robotic, too predictable, and too unimaginative.
Not to mention performance away from the RAC.
