Do we know the officiating team for tonight’s game? Let’s hope the staff reminds our guys the game is not won in the first three minutes of action. Keeping the right players on the floor is important.
Phil McCrevice replaced Jimmy McCracken, or so I heardSean Obrien
Patrick O'Malley

I don’t think those crews will work tonight. They are probably off until Friday is my guess. Is no one out there scouting the local Subway shops for ref sightings?
We at least know the two crews that worked yesterday's games were in Dayton yesterday and probably overnight. My guess is that they'd be working today's games, too.
For Iowa's sake, I hope Bo Boroski is traveling to Buffalo tonight to work their 3:15pm game tomorrow.
Don't forget the backups Paddy O'Furniture. Phil McCavity.Phil McCrevice replaced Jimmy McCracken, or so I heard
Oh ****
Bottom line: REGARDLESS of whether you're a poster who thinks we "get screwed" by the officials (or not), win or lose, these will NOT be B1G officials which means the game COULD get called tighter than we are use to during conference play (which is NOT "tight" relative to how physical the play can be...). I hope not, and typically early in the NCAA's you don't get games called as such, so fingers crossed!

There isn't really such a thing as "Big Ten officials", in the football sense. These guys will work a Big Ten game one night, an A10 game the next, a Mountain West game the next, etc. Last night in the late game, one of the 3 refs was Roger Ayers, who definitely does Big Ten games (I didn't recognize the other two, so assuming they do few, if any, B1G games).Bottom line: REGARDLESS of whether you're a poster who thinks we "get screwed" by the officials (or not), win or lose, these will NOT be B1G officials which means the game COULD get called tighter than we are use to during conference play (which is NOT "tight" relative to how physical the play can be...). Whoever said Courtney Greene called it. I thought no conference refs were allowed?? Maybe he’ll help us against and ACC school, who knows
