Do we know the officiating team?

Bottom line: REGARDLESS of whether you're a poster who thinks we "get screwed" by the officials (or not), win or lose, these will NOT be B1G officials which means the game COULD get called tighter than we are use to during conference play (which is NOT "tight" relative to how physical the play can be...). I hope not, and typically early in the NCAA's you don't get games called as such, so fingers crossed!

Is no one out there scouting the local Subway shops for ref sightings?

We at least know the two crews that worked yesterday's games were in Dayton yesterday and probably overnight. My guess is that they'd be working today's games, too.

For Iowa's sake, I hope Bo Boroski is traveling to Buffalo tonight to work their 3:15pm game tomorrow.

I don’t think those crews will work tonight. They are probably off until Friday is my guess.

The old man trolled me the other day when I was bitching about Bo.

He said Higgins was called out of retirement for the NCAA tournament this year and will be in Dayton.

I 100% believed him

Based on previous years, it's a different crew for each game of the first four

There isn't really such a thing as "Big Ten officials", in the football sense. These guys will work a Big Ten game one night, an A10 game the next, a Mountain West game the next, etc. Last night in the late game, one of the 3 refs was Roger Ayers, who definitely does Big Ten games (I didn't recognize the other two, so assuming they do few, if any, B1G games).

Last year, D.J. did both a Michigan and a Wisconsin NCAA game, Pfeifer did an Iowa game, Bo did an Iowa and a Michigan game, Scirotto did Illinois, etc.

Whoever said Courtney Greene called it. I thought no conference refs were allowed?? Maybe he’ll help us against and ACC school, who knows
