Can we have an honest conversation about NIL deals?

Please correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t believe we’re doing anything with this?

College sports are evolving and this is the next step.

Pike really needs to take the next step of his rebuild and start making moves with this. If it’s not him doing it, someone else will.

Who is "we?" I don't think schools are very involved in this, at least on the basketball side. Ron and Geo are selling stuff through The Players Trunk. Geo and Paul have that Alva fitness thing. Who on Notre Dame or Kansas State or even Indiana has any NIL stuff that anyone knows of for instance?

It’s happening on the football side and will bleed into basketball, it’s inevitable.

This is how RU will secure top players from the portal IMO.

I have a TON of comments on this and will write up something shortly I have shared on this trying to get together people who want to get involved in NIL with Rutgers.
Just to inform--Rutgers has NOTHING to do with NIL and can only help facilitate...all on individuals/businesses to get the kids to provide services so they can paid/sponsored

My friend wants to talk to Rutgers people(already has been talking to the school) who want to get involved. he has already helped Kentucky, Kansas, and a bunch of other schools with NIL deals specifically for basketball.

I get ZERO out of any of this but I am trying to find him people to talk to

if we DON'T do this we stand to lose players and miss on recruits
