Biggest snub

[bac2therac]

who you got?

[rubigtimenow]

None they all didn’t deserve to make it

[Rokodesh]

A&M for sure

[RUBlackout]

A&M by far..rather play ND over that team right now IMO

[kcg88]

Easily A&M

[bitnez]

A&M

[shields]

Oklahoma was 7-11 in their conference. No to them.

[Arizona Knight]

A&M and it’s not close.

[Mr. Magoo1]

Really surprised about A&M. Their resume is better than Notre Dame and some others.

[S.W.A.I.N]

A&M fans should probably be the most upset, beat Arkansas twice, Bama…but honestly don’t think anyone really got screwed. I know I’d rather play Wyoming than A&M.

[Barnaby&Neill]

Thought A&M had it in the bag

[Mr_Twister]

The college basketball gawds punishing Buzz Williams for chasing big bucks and bailing on Va Tech.

[Danprusa_4]

Def A&M they’re big mad rn

[bac2therac]

man this poll

Buzz must be fuming

[ScarletCrimson]

A&M had their chance to punch their ticket.

[knight82]

TBH, I think the commitee got it right. Might have an issue with seeding, but as far as who got in and who didnt, I think they were spot on

[RutgersRaRa]

man this poll

Buzz must be fuming

The dude definitely knows how to fume.

[PSAL_Hoops]

You knew based on the B-12 seeds OU was out. Look at Iowa State’s seed.

[The RUT]

Anyone that watches cbb on a national level knows it’s A&M

They honestly got screwed, that’s 100% a tournament quality team

[Rokodesh]

Def A&M they’re big mad rn

I can imagine if we were in their place. Atleast they're good in football

[Caliknight]

It’s good to not have to give af about these things.

[NickRU714]

All of them.
Has to suck knowing you're approximately the 50th best team in the country but not allowed into a 68 team tournament.

[Danprusa_4]

I can imagine if we were in their place. Atleast they're good in football

Very true. I wouldn’t want to face them in football for a another couple years

[NewJerseyHawk]

Committee chair said very clearly a few minutes ago on A&M...."they had Q1 opportunities and didn't get enough of them and had a 8 game losing streak".

So, I will say it again so it doesn't come up again....who you play matters, who did you beat matters.....ignore the NET, the NET determines nothing about making the NCAAs"

[Loyal_2RU]

who you got?

Rutgers. Michigan over us absurd

[RU848789]

RU for having to play in Dayton...

[G- RUnit]

Exactly!!!!

[G- RUnit]

Rutgers. Michigan over us absurd

The Michigan thing is hard to explain

[bac2therac]

Rutgers. Michigan over us absurd

Michigan has a better resume

[bac2therac]

RU for having to play in Dayton...

Rutgers deserved Dayton based on its warts

Notre Dame beat KY, UNC, Mia, that is less than A&M

[RU848789]

Rutgers deserved Dayton based on its warts

We disagree.

[G- RUnit]

Michigan has a better resume

No they don’t. Sorry BAC.

Not sad to see Texas8&4 get snubbed.

[bac2therac]

We disagree.

bad losses and poor ooc schedule, poor road mark...now compare to Michigan

Yes RU was 8-5 vs field while Michigan was 7-12

Michigan has one more loss. Michigan had sos of 5, non conference 28

Michigan was loss was Minnesota, RU had Maryland, umass, and Lafay

Mich had a win over SDSt ooc, RU best was weak Clemson

michigan net 34, RU 77

RU has to get dinged somewhere

I believe all 3 Big 10 schools were very close and you could not have all 3 in the first 4. No issue with the slight nod to Michigan based on metrics, thats where the metrics come into play. RU and Indiana very tight as well and they gave the slight nod to RU

[Loyal_2RU]

Michigan has a better resume

I truly appreciate your opinion as well informed and knowledgeable. I just don't see it. I'll keep to my prejudice, thanks.

[anon1753890747]

Rutgers deserved Dayton based on its warts

Really felt like RU needed 1 more win anywhere on the schedule to be a lock. Play in game is fair need to win 1 more to play into the tournament

[Section124]

Oregon. I was told we were not an NCAA team without JY.

Took a look at the NET vs. the overall seed listing..

The first 39 NET teams made it to the tournament.... but after that, at-large selections were made for 43, 45, 49, 50, 53, 55, 62, and 77. (Automatic bids for 46, 52, 64, 65)

Some of the biggest gaps between the NET ranking order (1-68) and the overall seed list:

Seed was lower than NET by at least 15 spots:
VTech - NET 27, Overall Seed 46
Loyola Chicago - NET 23, Overall Seed 39
Houston - NET 3, Overall seed 18
San Francisco - NET 22, Overall seed 37

Seed was higher than NET by at least 14 spots:
Providence - NET 33, Seed 16
Wisconsin - NET 24, Seed 9
Creighton - NET 55 (47th among the field), Seed 33
