You guys are like click bait......these responses are like Dog-whistles that just add value and attention to these nobody metric geeks.

Ask Bart how many teams consistently get in that are 3 games over. 500 with a couple of quality wins.

If you want to parlay Vanderbilt winning the SEC tournament over vs Texas A&M in the SEC finals, Colorado winning the Pac 12, Virginia Tech winning the ACC, and Oklahoma winning the Big 12, then we can start worrying about things.

Its not only damning but being announced now to reinforce the perception that Rutgers performed poorly aginst a mediocre out of conference schedule.Rutgers needs spokemen to argue the contrasting position extolling the number of quad 1 wins against ranked teams as compared to other bubble teams.

Michigan is only 3 games above .500 … there have been more extinction-level meteor strikes than teams 3 games above .500 in the NCAA tournament. That’s my tweet

does Bart know we are 8-6 vs field best on bubble...why doesnt he tweet that
RU has had one of the most unusual seasons. You can cherry pick games like these and the resume is strong. You can cherry pick games like Bart and it’s weak. RU had a lot of good this year, and RU had a lot of bad this year. And they earned all of it. Such an uneven season.

We dwarf the bubble in quality wins amongst a bunch of unimpressive bubble resumes. Common sense will prevail. The eye test will prevail. Computers do not rule us. Not yet
I think this is the way it will go. The body of work improved dramatically at the end of the year. I figure the panel will overlook the early, out of conference, bad losses and take into strong consideration the top 20 wins and the impressive string of wins at the end of the year. Plus a win over #1 Purdue!!

Can’t have it both damn ways. Conference record doesn’t mean crap right? So that makes this a stupid, arbitrary cherry pick out 10 out of 31 games on our 31st ranked SOS schedule and harp on poor 6-4 performance in those games.

And oh yeah our starting PG missed 3 of those games plus the end of Lafayette.

Nothing ground breaking here everyone knows we sucked at the beginning of the year when OOC games are played. February and March should be more important than October and November.

Yep if Conference Record doesn’t matter, then OOC SOS doesn’t matter either. Our overall SOS is 31 so he can shove it

I mean he’s not wrong?

he’s not but as said above because of our very unique resume one can very easily make a very strong case for us (our play in the latter part of the season) or make a negative case for how we played when the calendar still said 2021

100%

computers and so called Metrics have been wrong all year and a terrible indicator of a separating teams. I do not need the NET to tell me Gonzaga is a really good team or that Georgetown is bad. I watch the games.

Kenpom had us going 1-8 over last 9 games . We went 6-3.

If we have the lowest NET and the NET is the measure of a good team than the NET is really bad at doing what it is supposed to do. Based on NET we should have gone 1-8 as well. We went 6-3.

As a matter of fact the only way we don’t get in is because the ncaa is pissed that we broke their measuring stick, made them look silly and they are they too stubborn to admit it.

or all the bid stealers win But I don’t see this happening
