Worst case scenario today with Iowa on a path of destruction and Indiana winning.
I think this is nothing but a typical pessimistic RU fan's outlook on things right now. I've been 100% convinced that we've been in, since Sunday, and most things that have happened thus far - particularly yesterday - have helped us out (if anything). I don't blame you - or anyone else - but remember 2 years ago everyone said "we need to win 2 more..."...then we did...then "we need to win 1 in the tourney." Then everything got cancelled and, lo-and-behold, we heard we were "likely" in before we beat Maryland and 100% "in" once we had. Even last year people were nervous as all hell. IMHO I believe some here need to take a deep breath EVEN IF we lose tomorrow.

Look at the arc on these 3s (just catching highlights now - basically was just listening while working). Piercingly beautiful.

Sorry, I was using the football board meme, and being totally facetious.

On the plus side, Iowa has to be worn out from running up and down the court and mopping the court with Northwestern.

Nice words from McCaffery about RU at the end there. He gets on my nerves, but the sentiment is appreciated (seemed genuine).

Why does everyone hate Fran? Because he used to berate officials 5-10 years ago? Like hes the only coach who gets pissed at refs... Guy is a class act off the court, develops talent, always complimentary in interviews of opponents, and all his players love him. You can tell the people whove only seen a few clips on youtube and make up their mind about a guy.

He got on my nerves royally last year (or a couple years ago) at Iowa with his whining at the half, which subsequently led to 10000 calls going Iowa's way to start the 2nd and sealing the W.

Didn’t Iowa just lose like 4 days ago? To an Illinois team that we beat by 20 like 2 weeks ago? Calm down. They couldn’t miss and also NW scored 76 points on their D so … also because they won by so much, everyone in the arena from the first game (whether it’s Illinois or Indiana that wins) will be pulling for us, so that’s a plus

So the same thing every other coach in the league does? You got repaid with the Harper gifted game winning free throws on a foul i saw go uncalled no less than 8 times in the first 4 mins of your home finale.

That was the 2020 game. We led at the half 43-38. Fran had a mini tirade at the refs at the end of the half, when Iowa was just 1-4 at the FT line. In the second half, they were 17-21. We also had 4 FTA in the first half and another 17 in the second. Clearly the refs called the game differently after the half. We lost 85-80.
