This is my biggest concern. Our defense will have to keep us close until we heat up offensively.tomorrow will be tough, especially if we come out cold
FIG says they aren't good though...Iowa has been the #2 team in the country (behind only Gonzaga) over the past month according to Torvik. Just a machine.
We have to play our game (tough D and limit their shots)Question on strategy: Do we run against a team that played the day before, or do we slow it down assuming Iowa wins?
We never runQuestion on strategy: Do we run against a team that played the day before, or do we slow it down assuming Iowa wins?
Yes, but my question is regarding our offensive pace.We have to play our game (tough D and limit their shots)
34 points in 10 minutes, how the hell did we hold them to 46. Crazy.
Indiana fans have cleared out. Say 7-8k watching game. Crowd is dead. Not too many Iowa fans and NWs fans you can count on a hand.
All Iowa does is shoot 3s.
Will be a tough game tomorrow as Iowa will be in a flow and not tires from NW game.
As Bac said , we can’t shoot like crap to begin the game.
Iowa has been playing really well the past month.Go Iowa, I think we can beat them.
I guess I should have been more clear: do we work the clock on offense or play aggressively, driving to the hole and/or taking the first good look from deep?We never run
We need to be really physical and hope the refs swallow the whistle.Iowa has figured out how to be an offensive machine. We’re going to need to do something to take them out of their game. Or we’re going to need to score a ton. Fran’s a nut, but he knows what he’d doing on offense.
Attack the rim! No shot blockers. Maybe some token press just to slow them down. Don't want to get into a run and gun quick pace game. Grind it out make it ugly.I guess I should have been more clear: do we work the clock on offense or play aggressively, driving to the hole and/or taking the first good look from deep?
