Ron and Caleb both have one more year of eligibility. Let them know Sunday that we’d love to have them make one more run. Wouldn’t hurt. Steve Serby asked Ron since he has more year of eligibility what were his plans and he said “I’m not really sure. I’m taking it like a day at a time.” The way Ron answered his question about what he would tell an NBA GM about himself it didn’t sound like he had any illusions of how he might fit in.

Ron is gone. Let’s just send him off right guy is the most important RU basketball player in the last 25+ years and the face of Rutgers basketball. He turned this program around years ago when the national media thought Rutgers had no business competing. Pike got a good one.

Would love to have him back as everyone would but agree with you RUsojo, this is his final home game and lets just celebrate the great career he had as a Scarlet Knight.

I don't expect Ron back.

But this is one of those odd situations where in theory ron doesn't need to chase the money because his dad had a successful nba career and doesn't seem to be one of those athletes who mismanaged there wealth.

Ultimately I don't know how much he could improve his stock, I mean he has a legit chance to win the Julius Erving award and is still barely a 2nd rd pick.

Could he come back and be a 20 and 7 guy? Yea but again unless he really just balls out he's likely at best an early 2nd rd pick.

I'd love to have Ron one more year and dylan a couple years later but unfortunately this may be the last we see of the harper family

When you sign up to be a college basketball fan, you sign up for this. Watching a player develop and improve for a few years just to say good bye when they are at their best. If RHJ decides to move on, we owe him our gratitude and support for what ever he decides to do next.

Ron is almost certainly gone, but Caleb could possibly come back, as he has far less hope to play professionally (Ron absolutely will and maybe in the NBA) - having a senior glue guy and great defender next year wouldn't suck.

If Caleb wants to he’ll have plenty of options to go play abroad. The difference is there’s far more upside for him now to come back to school. He must realize he’d have a legit shot for the national DPOY. If playing in the NBA is even a pipe dream for him competing for that award first is by far his best bet.

If Caleb comes back he will really have the mental edge defensive intimidation factor in the B1G. Other teams and their fan bases will hate it.
