Listen...do what we did to Wisconsin in the 2nd half...DRIVE TO THE DAMN HOLE, and continue doing so, UNTIL everything else opens up. Going to the big guy the opening play of every game, and taking awful shots from 15-25-feet, is NOT going to get us off to hot starts.Indiana is a first half team, we're a second half team. Critical not to get down big early on the road again for us.
Yeah...uhm...the "last 30 days" are kinda important right now lol!Meh, keep in mind that chart says “last 30 days.” I wouldn’t read much into this.
The one game @Illinois they were close at the half and then ended up getting blown out.
Then there was @Northwestern where they were up by 4 at the half and ended up losing by 8, and their last game @Minnesota they were up big and fell apart towards the end but hung on to win (made their FT’s - important!)
So really this stems from 3 road games - a loss to Illinois (we lost by more), a loss to Northwestern (we also lost there), and a win against Minnesota (we lost there).
Sorry to burst your bubble but on the Indiana board they are saying 2 players are out. Galloway and LanderAnybody else see this thread title and think: "Oh no, Indiana suspends 4 starters due to violation of team policy. We're doomed. Kiss of death. Definite L." then opened the thread and thought: "OK phew, everyone is a go for Indiana for now, this is good for us." Haha. The Life of an RU Fan. Someone should write a book. I'll do the print design.![]()
We got left off another list. Amazing.I don’t see our logo
Interesting. That's 9 points and 30-minutes per game (Galloway the bigger loss at 6 and 20) PLUS they aren't starters which, IMHO, is a psychological "plus" for RU lol!Sorry to burst your bubble but on the Indiana board they are saying 2 players are out. Galloway and Lander

Then who does Ron cover? Klopp? Then mulcahy is on a small quick guardXavier Johnson last 3 games, he has scored 16,24,24 points but has shot 3-16, 7-7, 7-16. At 6'3 he is a better matchup for Miller if he gets hot, Johnson is just a streaky player. I'd prefer Caleb on a guy like Race Thompson, their 2nd leading scorer. Keep Ron out of foul trouble.
I don’t think it matters that much - we have the defensive talent to handle this match up a number of ways. The problem is more that Indiana is a strong defensive team themselves and when our shots don’t fall we tend to lose intensity on defense (every game except Iowa). Have to keep focused on defense and wear them down. Then who does Ron cover? Klopp? Then mulcahy is on a small quick guard
I do agree Miller should guard him when he is in
We have the talent but if Caleb isn't on XJ then it means I don't like another matchup by default. If Caleb is on XJ, we matchup very well at every other positionI don’t think it matters that much - we have the defensive talent to handle this match up a number of ways. My observation has been that it doesn’t matter how good or bad the offense we play is it even the match ups. Our defense has seemed to feed off our ability to make some shots. We don’t need to be great on offense but only once all year has the defense not broken down when the offense struggled on and on and that was against one of the best offenses in the conference (Iowa). Some of its random luck as Green pointed out. But if ours continues down the same track with another first half of 0% from 3, chances are we’ll see what happened vs. Michigan. The defense breaks down. Let’s hope we can finally get a start where a couple big shots fall early. We have the talent but if Caleb isn't on XJ then it means I don't like another matchup by default. This being starting 5 vs starting 5 matchups
Just FTR, Illinois beat Indiana in Bloomington (not Champaign) in their only meeting. And it was indeed close at half before Illinois pulled away in the second half.Meh, keep in mind that chart says “last 30 days.” I wouldn’t read much into this.

Thread bump. We're going to be down double digits with 10 minutes left in the game. What else would you expect?
Relevant tweet. Down 7 at half against a team who sucks 2nd half. They choke as expected
