We have had some epic RAC crowds of late, but I think this coming Saturday night could be the best one yet. RU will need the crowd to take down Wisconsin who will be aiming for revenge after beat them last week. If we can beat Michigan on Wednesday and then win against Wisconsin, I would think that cements our ticket to the dance. Should be a fun one.

Off a win vs. UM, the casual fans are more invested for sure, and the students, players, etc. can taste 'lock' status with a W.

Off a loss, the diehards and students will know the importance of winning vs. UW

Either way, I think the place is going to be absolutely rocking by 5:50

Just looking at some of the prices for tickets on stub hub! Wow! Cheapest are 80 dollars in the nosebleeds

If it's anything like the Illinois game it will be insane. That was the loudest I've heard the RAC in all the years I've been there. Literally from tipoff to the final buzzer. It can be like that every home game. I look forward to it Saturday. The boys are playing hard and the games are fun.

About the Illinois game, Caleb said, “It was so loud I couldn’t think. I thought what is going on, the score is only 4-0!”

Yes, the Illinois game was loud from the jump!!

While the stakes are high, the style of play of Wisconsin I believe will take the crowd out somewhat. I dont think we reach Illinois levels but could have some moments like Ohio State where the crowd was deafening in spots.

The building helps us. No doubt about it. The fans need to continue to bring it on Saturday.

I think it will be a good atmosphere, no doubt, but probably not as crazy as some of the earlier games after the 2 recent losses. The negative posts on this board over the last few days are evidence of that. I think the students will "bring it" regardless and that's probably the most important thing anyway since they typically make the most noise.

The RAC will be juiced - 6pm Saturday game vs. a ranked team with NCAA tournament hopes on the line.

Large majority of the negatives posters don’t frequently attend games or haven’t stepped foot in the RAC this year I bet.

I don’t think it gets to the level of the Illinois game though. That was one of, if not the loudest games I’ve been to ever.

It might be more crazy because of the losses because that makes winning this one that much more important.

I'm hoping that we sweep the next two and take some of the pressure off so the Penn State game, senior day for Geo and Ron (and hopefully not Caleb too), will be more a celebration, much like senior day in 1991 against Penn State was.
