B1G loses to . . .

And could have lost these too. The NW game is the killer. 10 -4 is the placement. How potentially unbelievable.
Sorry but that is flawed thinking. Those losses put our backs to the wall..,which has propelled us into this recent confident play
Sure, each of the losses is a woulda shoulda coulda. But I think you can only look at the most recent one, the Northwestern game on the road as a "what if" since had also just come off a comeback road win at Lincoln three days prior. They dug themselves a huge hole again at NW, got it to OT, and then lost on the final shot to win it. That's the one that slipped out of their hands. And coming up short may have been the final straw for this team and has helped fuel them for the past 3 games (and hopefully further).
That night at halftime in Evanston, the calendar having turned to February, something changed mentally with this team. There were only so many games remaining in front of them on the schedule to overcome the out of conference stumbles and make a push for March. Seems like something clicked in Paul as he took a massive leap forward in deciding he was not going to just let the game come to him, rather he was going to have to assert himself as one of the team leaders and take the bull by the horns.
We are a very good TEAM right now. We are playing as a TEAM which we weren’t early on in 2021.. This is a credit to all the players and staff. Illinois has this monster in the middle named Kofi …that is one B1G dude. We have our own mini versions in Mulcahy and Omoruyi . We do have something that will impact the game Wednesday. The Jersey Mike’s RAC and the best fans in all college basketball. Need those students to step up again…need the fans to elevate their game as well. RUTGERS can win this one.We also have Caleb McConnell the B1G D player of the year.
The only games in this group we were in and had a shot at winning were Minn and NW. Minn shot the lights out. We probably should’ve beaten NW once it got to OT.

Also flawed because we could have just as easily lost at Nebraska, vs Purdue, vs. Iowa and vs. Ohio State. Look ahead not back.
Coulda ? … that’s what losers use as an excuse. This team is not playing like a loser and for that reason Rutgers still has a chance. Funny though how some don’t want to believe it’s true.GO RUTGERS !!!!!
