It's all about the entire landscape of college basketball, not just the B1G....teams around the other leagues are coming down the stretch as well and there's a ton of games left in the next 3 weeks.

Agreed. But a handful of bad losses in Nov shouldnt f up a whole resume. Far better than a team that beats lots of Q2/3 teams.
I agree and we know the NET isn't the end all, be all of making the Tourney - the eye test matters and we dismantled a top 13 MSU, roared back to beat a top 16 OSU, completely shut down the best offensive team in the conference and - oh yeah - beat the #1 team in the country. I think our NET will always undervalue how good we are because of that Lafayette loss and I honestly don't think we're going to not get in because of a high NET if we get to 11-9.

I’m sure we will have a jump from 99 to like 95 tomorrow. Formula stinks

The NET is really not that important. It’s used much more for looking at the quality of the opponents on a team’s resume imo than it is for actually ranking teams for tournament selection.

The NET is not our problem. Our problem is our bad losses.

All I know is there is no way there are 68 between teams than us right now. If we continue playing like this, we will be one of the top 34 teams looking for at large bids (or whatever the available number is).

And NOBODY is going to want to see us as the 11 seed or whatever they face in their first game, if we get in.
