I’m glad we pulled it out obviously but it’s extra special because Mag has gone through so much and he not only has a good game he’s the reason we won. Perfect from the line, Perfect from the field. 7 boards. And just an infectious energy guy. And leadership attempting to save Jalen Miller from getting a T. Kudos.

Mag was great. Reiber was great against Nebraska in the first game. Ultimately I'm not sure looking good against Nebraska means much.

Certainly a great story though and I'm rooting hard for him.

the coming out party. We saw hints of Mag earlier this season. The injuries clearly have stunted his progress and I admit even I was beginning to lose patience with him after his last bunch of games where he really wasnt providing anything. Might be the fire in this team...instant energy although at times too much...almost knocked in a basket for Nebby lol

I am so glad that Pike trusted in him and gave him those 2nd half minutes.

Mag was outstanding and has been through so much. So many on this site basically said he would only see garbage time. He is a very important part of our team moving forward and I hope he can stay healthy. I said before the season he would be an important part of our rotation but only a few of us believed that.

We have had three non starters that have all had their moments

Hyatt had some solid efforts early on,
And some wanted him to be a starter during that rough period, possibly replacing an early struggling Caleb

Reiber had some fans starting a fan club for him after that, when he put in some solid efforts

Now we have Mags performing well, and of the three,
He might be the one who can keep it going, we hope

I think there was one game when all of them clicked at the same time

On defense he had to guard a 5 star recruit that might play in the NBA. On offense in a huge possession late in a close game he didn’t hesitate taking a 3 pointer.

didn’t matter of it was Nebraska or Michigan State in evaluating the Mag performance.
Yes! And Mawot was 4-4 from the FT line in a game where we needed every point.

We cannot keep playing starters 35 minute

Mag need to be on the floor for 20 minutes because he is productive enough (as more productive than what our starters provide in minutes 31-35)

Hyatt needs 15 as well

Yes. And Mag guarded Huskers #5 in crunch time and stopped him from scoring. Huge!
