I think that was for the the name of the town in Redding, CT, where he coached the JV softball team for free. Although it seems that the high school is not named Redding High School. He also sponsored a little league baseball team in Stamford where he lived for a while.

I actually same him about 6 or 7 years ago at the State Theatre in New Brunswick. He couldn’t sing like the old days but it was still a good show. And please … no Politics intended… he was a contestant on the Celebrity Apprentice. I was surprised at how soft spoken and courteous he was. He seemed like a genuine nice guy.
