That was a hell of an effort Defensively. Tough call on Murray at the end but what an effort by our guys and they played tough as well.

Yeah crazy finish really feeling kinda weird after this one considering we got handed the win at the end. Feels left unsettled. D was really great though. Interested to see the four factors and shot quality numbers to see what the underlying numbers say

Both teams shot poorly. It was a dogfight and that wears you down but we missed some open shots as did Iowa.

And they shouldn’t have overturned the out of bounds call. But we have a problem with end of half and end of game plays, we run the clock so low that we end up with desperation shots. Also , we need to rethink the lob plays. A 15 % success rate is not good. Until they get better with that in practice, we need to cut back. Everyone likes to see the assists and throw downs, but not if we don’t score.

One thing I noticed was that the crowd seemed to be in shock a foul was called. My friend and I both thought it was a Rutgers timeout... there wasn't a huge cheer when the whistle blew.

To the earlier point, you don't apologize for a break at the end of the game. This time the sketchy calls evened out. Who knows, maybe Ron would have scored anyway.

Left unsettled? Were you hoping we would lose or something lol.

I was surprised when the call was made and 98% of the time that’s not a call you get with 2 seconds left and a tie game.

But the refs made quite a few bad calls for then imo and even missed a few on our end (Ralph literally took a free throw stepping on the line and they missed it).

Either way with a defensive effort like that I definitely don’t feel unsettled and don’t know why any Rutgers fan would feel that way to be honest.

Refs setting the precedent of Harper being a star getting foul calls at home end of game.

Murray's fault for playing overly aggressive D that far out and putting his hands on Harper. Little hesitation is all it took to draw the foul

And since this is the first time we have gotten a soft foul to help us win the game near the buzzer that I can remember so it more feels long overdue than anything

I'm glad we won. Tonight was certainly a rock fight. But making that call with 2 seconds left in the game was really a horrible decision by the official Courtney Green. Yes, there were terrible calls on both sides tonight, but IMO, the officials should not decide the game. The players should decide the game.

Oh and for Iowa fans reading our boards, Courtney Green has been awful to us too in the past. The three officials tonight were horrible. Period!
