That's a double-edged sword in my opinion. On the football board, for instance, some guy who's posted like 100,000 times tried to shout me down because I'm "new" and also accused me of being a previous poster. The board would be better without post counts or join dates being displayed because it leads to some (not all) longtime posters acting and thinking like their opinions somehow matter more than others.
Anyone using your number of posts as a criteria to judge your thoughts, doesn’t agree with what you said.
If you said the same thing with 50 thousand posts, the same people calling you out would think of a different way to insult you

@RUSantaMonica - Yeah I didn’t even know where they show the amount of posts by anyone. My opinions are based on each post which probably isn’t fair to some. Certain posters I have been reading their comments good and bad for a while now so they get a pass. Some posters are always negative which I find off putting. I know some are overly positive but they too get a pass even though I don’t always agree with their comments or I know they’re just trying to piss off the negative types.

I personally stay away from game threads because if the team is losing I know the crap that will be posted and I’m already frustrated so why go there? In fact after bad losses I try to stay off this and the Football boards for as long as I can and then it’s on to the next game. Overall I spend too much time on these boards mainly to see what’s going on in recruiting and then getting sucked into silly threads.

Well don't be fooled by such people. It's obvious, regardless of anybody's length of time spent here on this or other forums, that my opinion is the only one that should matter and it's been that way since my very first post here.

Oh yeah.. you have really convinced me that you are not some troll who rolls out a new moniker every so often just to avoid the reputation you built with previous trolling activities.

Right, and instead of arguing on the merits they'll try to change the subject to someone's number of posts and/or accuse a newer poster of being a "troll."

Thanks for making my point. The good news is that I wasn't trying to "convince" you of anything and don't care what you think.
TROLL, I say... and I don't even know what post started others questioning your low post count. The wisdom of the mob has hinted that you are a troll and you are arguing insisting you are not. A fan wouldn't have to argue. Simply put, you protest too much. Maybe you can correct that in your next incarnation.
Please stop harassing me simply because I'm a newer poster. I will have no choice but to go to the moderators if the unprovoked attacks don't stop. Have a nice day.
