Let's look forward. Who's going? I am and can't wait. My only issue is, do I stop at Chap's Pit Beef on the way down or home; or do I go someplace more local, like Looney's Pub, Cornerstone Grill or RJ Bentley's.

Thoughts.

Is Chap's Pit Beef all that? I've never been, and I know Guy Fieri loves it. But two people I know who have gone have been disappointed.

Do Bentleys! Proper college town feel (though students won’t be there so it’ll probably be pretty empty…the restaurant and the game lol)

Enjoy!

Although Maryland has a mediocre record ,they do have more consistent scorers than Rutgers and they are playing home.

Is Maryland a litmus test game for RU? Win and the ship is righted. But lose and the season may be on the brink.

A loss on Saturday will not necessarily put the season on the brink. However, it does increase the pressure for each game following it.

I can't see RU realistically making the big dance if it endures a 3-game losing streak at any point during remainder of the season.

I give your guys credit for looking forward to going to a road game knowing our record
Thanks. Our record is not the issue. We need consistency on the road. If the team that beat Michigan and Nebraska shows up, we win. The Team that lost to St. Penn, we lose.

2 of my sons graduated from Maryland and I never saw the appeal to Bentley’s, except as a place for underage kids to get drunk. Place is a dump, smells bad and serves below average pub fare.

Road record is an issue. My bad for not stating that. It’s a huge issue. We just got bullied by PSU. Straight bullied. For me, the road record wasn’t a huge issue during the 19-20 season because a lot of the teams we lost to were ranked teams. But now, it’s clearly an issue.

What’s the over/under on B1G road wins this season?

Can we win at Minny or Nebraska in the next two weeks?

The blowout PSU loss worries many RU fans.

I hope we don’t have a 3-game losing streak going forward, because that will mean we lose a home game. If we can hold serve at home…

With the Terp students on break, maybe Bentley’s won’t smell so bad.

Maryland is a crummy campus with more than a fair share of ignorant and arrogant fans populating its building.

It's the one place JK and I hope to never have to visit again in the B1G. Hard pass this weekend...will watch on TV

I’ve recently visited the MD campus twice and have to admit it’s phenomenal for a larger state school. Much much better than my Alma Mater’s campus.
I’ve never been in their basketball arena yet.

My cousin went there and raved about it. Never actually saw it

I really thought this thread was going to be about something completely different than Saturday's game.

I think it's a nice campus.

Maryland has a lot of students from NJ & NY. Especially LonG Island.

Even if we go 10-0 at home, we still need at least 2 or 3 road wins to go dancing... unless we have nice run in the B1G tourney.

Will be there on Saturday.

Haven't pregamed in College Park in a few years, usually just in and out from campus. Might be a couple newer places with some of the development that's gone on downtown in recent years.

This thread got me thinking about how we really only have 2 semi local road games- within driving distance. The rest of the conference is nowhere near lol

You don't know what you're talking about. College Park IS a crummy TOWN, but the campus is one of the nicest in the B1G, as is the arena, which is NBA-esque.

I don't know if we'll win the game but I am pretty confident that that we'll see a much better spirited Rutgers squad than what we saw at the PSU game
