0 energy tonight which you always fear going into that stupid empty arena. Pike has been around long enough he has to know and get them ready. Loss is on the coaches for letting these guys get away with it all game
Okay loss is somewhat on the coaches but the players have to make shots. Our two best players had a horrible game. Hopefully they get a couple good wins on the road against better opponents and those wins should knock off this loss.

Well, this was a wasted 2 hours I’ll listen to my wife complain about.

Still had nice wins this season and some firsts (Purdue, UMICH). Tough to win on the road, especially Rutgers.

Just a very soft and pathetic performance by our guys. I don’t blame the coaches. Our players played like ****. Soft as charmin if you want to get punked you will. No heart. Embarrassing. Grow up boys and grow some hair and play on the road for f sakes.

Well
It just shows how different we play on the road

I have seen this many a year and this year is no different

Again I point at the Water years as a comparison and we eventually gave up on him when he could not fix it

Pike has to do better than Waters in regards to the road
The game today was inexcusable , we did not even compete

Need Luke to bring energy on road like he did without fans. We always play off energy. Need to generate our own like we did without fans.

Shoot 34% and won't beat anybody.
Our first few shots were clean looks and hit none.
Every time we closed to four or five we could not sink another to make it a one possession game.
Once they hit the two 3 pointers in about 8 seconds it was over.

The anti realistic-about-Geo media/posters are going to take it really easy on him tonight after puffing out their chests the two good games he’s had halfway through the season between the other average or clunker performances

yes its unfortunate that they turned this into a tit for tat and now every bad peformance will be brought up to counter the good performance. Its two straight bad games for Geo offensively, so he an outstanding game vs Michigan but then totally has disappeared. A veteran leader is going to be criticized for efforts like tonight, it would be nice if all the media guys dont protect him yet again

Coaching is definitely to blame for some of those insane lineups and for not getting to the team to even act like they give a damn.

Nah man. F that. It’s on the players. Coaches don’t mean ****. Players have to have some pride.

Think Penn State has better guards than us. Also remember 3 of the last 4 games have been at Penn State. last year on road and year before 2 games, home and away. Sessions abused Geo.

We would have danced 2 years ago with 2 b10 road wins. Probably need to win 3-4 road games and all but 1 or 2 remaining home games to even have a chance.
Thankfully, one league loss does not ruin a season.

Finish the regular season 9-6 and we're sitting on the bubble... 10-5 and we're dancing
Not sure where the road wins come from other than maybe Nebby, NW long shot. I hope I'm wrong of course.

Who would you play over palm? Btw he played 12 minutes
I was actually surprised he only played 12 minutes, it seemed that he fell more than 12 times. Personally, I think Palmquist is the last scholarship player on the team. I don’t like what I’ve seen from Jones, but I would even have played him or Hyatt more.

it also not that it’s just Palmquist. There was an extended period where Palmquist, Reiber, and Mulcahy were on the court at the same time. Mulcahy is fine when he’s on the court with good players, but put him with these two and we play like a rec league team. Palmquist fell three times on one possession and Reiber fell immediately afterwards. The lack of athleticism and foot speed was glaring.

We’re a young team…lol
Teams with VETERAN LEADERS. Geo is a 5th year senior who has started essentially all 5 years. Ron for 4.

Caleb for 4 and Paul too with tons of experience. Hyatt has experience.

Cliff Reiber Miller with the least experience and the ones who played decent actually

Yes they did. But the coach is not blameless for a pathetic team effort and watching Palmquist flounder-flop on the floor for half of the game.
Hey you can't criticize Pike on this Board... It's like it's a socialist military environment and he's the ultimate leader. If you criticize him your family members might disappear.
