Almost Horrific all over. Shooting. Coaching. Yes there are some positives but under 20 in the first half is unacceptable. If we made those FTS we would be down at least 5 right now. We better come out hot in the second half because right now this is not it.

We missed like 5 straight makeable shots to open the game then looked dazed and confused until a spurt to close within 4...then fell apart again. Clunker 1st half.

Wish I could say . . .

Rutgers sports can never be “normal”. One game we score 95 and look as good as we have all year then literally the next game we score 19 in a half and look like we never held a basketball before. Just be normal and we’d win going away, PSU offense is horrible
Yes. Post of the year candidate and it’s only Jan

Caleb With 2 awful turnovers one of which came during a nice little run. He had Harper in a mis match and he does too much

I thought they were getting good shots at the beginning of the game but nothing was going in and alarmingly some were not even close. Then reverted to too much individual dribbling and TO's. The defense was pretty good but can't tell if that is a function of PSU not being that strong offensively. If they were, we would be down about 15 at this point.

Winning on the road is difficult for the best of teams but for Rutgers it remains a ongoing nightmare. This clearly is a winnable game if Rutgers had a pulse on offense.Penn State is winning because they have a few players that can create and make shots off the dribble.Bottom line its up to Baker and Harper to come out of hibernation or its going to be a very long bus ride back to Piscataway.

Now as a coach I say. No turnovers. Rebound play d and the shots will fall and secretly pray the will actually fall and they usually do if you do 1-3.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around that thought process there. Cause I keep coming to the same conclusion, IDIOTIC.
Hahah who knows. Hopefully it was a statement from pike at the worst of times. But we’ll see if they come ready to actually play in the second

When you watch these guys play on the road the thought keeps reoccurring to me: does anyone, ANYONE, give a **** out there? Doesn’t look like it

We need to speed it up. Penn State, especially Harrar, is slower, but more physical than us. Posting up is not gonna be effective here. If we play at this pace and can’t drive by or make the cutting pass, we’ll struggle. I.e. I like how Dean just drove by and dunked on that one possession.
