I like the optimism but we haven't shown we can close out a game on the road yet. We had both DePaul and UMass beaten and couldn't hold on. And when the opponent was good (Illinois and SHU) we got manhandled. They have to show they can play 40 minutes on the road. This would be the game to do it.
With Geo back I’m hoping he can bring the swagger to away games and show the young guys that humiliating fans on the road is a great feeling and hope that gives them confidence to play well. Of course with Ron doing well and PM, Caleb, and cliff.
We never beat a #1 before until we did. Team is playing much better now than earlier in the year plus DePaul hit 4 deep 3’s in a row to beat us. Agree playing on the road is tougher and no easy wins home or away on paper in this conference.

GRF predicts........absolutely no clue. I have ZERO feel for this game. At home I'd like to think 69-59 good guys. We will be playing on the road in front of a small crowd.
Both teams played at UMass, where PSU lost by 25 points and we took the loss on a buzzer beater. Both teams have played better since then, but I believe our improvement has been greater.

PSU seems to have some kind of power over us . They are also playing better than they did earlier and I think you have to look at the last few games for both. If not on the road, I think we win by a comfortable margin. This game will be big for us in many ways and we need to get that W.

Two years ago for using an ridic illegal screen to beat us at the buzzer after we came from behind by 20...and left many of us thinking we would be NIT bound after a 16-5 start ....
