Is there anything more meaningless than that ESPN probability wheel? It only gives Nebraska a 17% chance to win tomorrow which is utterly ridiculous. All it takes is a bad shooting day by RU and a good shooting day for Nebraska which is probably closer to 33% probability. A depleted Nebraska squad smoked RU late last year when we badly needed a win. I'm actually more afraid of Nebraska than Northwestern or PSU because they can be such a wild card.

Yes very true. Nebraska is much better than what their record says. Hopefully the team and pike knows that and come out with the mentality to win this game right away. Or were in trouble. This Nebraska team has tons of weapons. Afraid cliff will be early foul trouble in this one against walker.

Bart says 22%. I think 25%-30% feels right. We are splitting hairs.

i think we have to have a below average or worse shooting game AND they have an above average shooting game to lose.

I doubt there will be juice at the RAC to start so I am curious to see our defensive intensity, especially if shots aren’t falling early. My guess is we will be fine.

Since 2019, Nebraska is
Away team/underdog 1-25 4%
Conference games 5-40 11.1%
As an underdog 6-46 18.2%
2-3 days off 7-30 18.9% Wed night-Sat afternoon
After a loss 12-39 23.5% L- MSU

17% sounds about right with trends for tomorrow's game.

Since 2019, Rutgers is
Home Favorite 30-4 88%
Home team 36-6 85.7%
With Rest Advantage 15-9 62.5%, 3 days to 2 days
After a Win 25-17 59.5%
Conference games 24-21 53.3%

Rutgers 75
Nebraska 71

Definitely concerned about the team getting comfortable and letting the foot off the gas like against UMass this season and Nebraska in 2020. Need to look at Nebraska as though it’s as good as anyone.

I haven’t watched Nebraska play this year, but from the number of threes they take, I’m guessing they like to run and gun. Would love to see Miller in there, slowing down their point guard and keeping their offense out of sync.

Rutgers wins, 81-76

With all due respect......any data other than 2021-22 is completely irrelevant. I don't Akashi Yeboah or Myles Johnson are playing. I don't think that nice coach who made a goofy comment about Tuesday is coaching

Nebraska takes a ton of bad shots. They have talented but undisciplined players who play hero ball way too much. That’s what you get when your team is almost totally new year to year.

What ive seen of them this season is a tendency to fold late after being competitive early. They don’t really rebound all that well and should be a bunch we can handle with our overall size and physicality

The 2020 loss should help our guys recognize the need to bring the energy all 40 minutes. I think they get it done, putting it away by early 2nd half.

Need to play same style of quick passing to create open looks or backdoor cuts that we have been doing last few games. Even Reiber has looked sharp. With 3, and sometimes 4, with Caleb’s suprisingly extended range, three point threats, this will also open up more opportunities inside.
Remember we needed one of Geo’s “Big Shots” when we played them here 2 years ago..

All of that data is irrelevant and might at well be from 1965. How have they performed on even numbered dates in January with snow on the ground since 2009?

Captain Obvious: Key to us winning and going forward is Gio and Harp scoring 15+ each, converting FTs, and keeping the opposing team below the speed limit of 65.
