Football GATOR BOWL THREAD: Rutgers versus Wake Forest

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

DL has to be better

They look clueless and overmatched

[LinDan516]

SIAP any word of Fatukasi? I didnt see him on their first drive. He was a representative for un in FL so I know he is there

[Scarlet1984]

If we get blown out by over 40 pts today on National TV does that help recruiting & does that make it a bad decision to have excepted the invite by GS & Company. It’s great for the players to experience the Bowl game but at what cost.

Maybe read the room. I think people are trying to enjoy the game.

[ashokan]

Good RU drive
RU still needs to play big defense
Army kept ball 43 minutes with 400+ yds rushing and Wake got 70 points in 17 minutes

[Danprusa_4]

Jesus Christ Toure that was ur moment

[RUSK97]

Ohhhhhh

[Ronnie_B]

Com'on D, you got to show up to this game sometime

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

Put your hands up DL

Cornerbacks have to shed off blocks.

Catch that !!!!

[King of S]

I could of caught that!

[koleszar]

That was right in his hands WTF with this defense, wake the **** up.

[mdk02]

Jeez dude.

Is he the guy who was saying Wake -56 earlier this week? Is betting still open?

BTW, between the run and the blitz pick-up Young is making a big time statement on playing time next year.

[rutgersguy1_rivals]

Aww man dropped the INT. shoot. That might be rust too.

[ashokan]

that's why DBs aren't WRs

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

Just refused a gift.

[Joey Bags]

OMG lol

[RUAldo]

OMG that’s one of the worst plays I’ve ever seen. Blooper worthy!

[RUTRINI_rivals]

Let's go D

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

Aww man dropped the INT. shoot. That might be rust too.

Just cannot botch that

[ashokan]

RU is bringing heat

[mikebal9]

How do you not run under that and catch it like a punt?

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

Gave them 7 points dropping a gift INT

[mdk02]

A decimated front 7 on D is going to be a problen

[rutgersguy1_rivals]

Geez, too bad. Gotta make the plays when they're there or you could get burned later.

[RUboston]

Don’t make that easy interception and this is what you get.

[Ronnie_B]

I think that's a catch.

[RUTRINI_rivals]

Unfortunate...

[koleszar]

Could have had an early momentum swing and now this. So disappointing.

[Rokodesh]

Aww man dropped the INT. shoot. That might be rust too.

You learn to catch a ball at 3 years old. That's just bad hands

[dconifer0]

I think that's a catch.

and a TD unfortunately, in my opinion

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

How do these bowls make any $$$?There can’t be more than 10k at this game.

TV ads I guess.

Poor job by the locals

[PSAL_Hoops]

I don’t think they are reviewing catch. They are looking at if he crossed for a TD.

[Mr. Magoo1]

Just cannot botch that

Have to be able to catch a football. No excuse for that.

[ashokan]

AT Perry is Randy Moss redux

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

You learn to catch a ball at 3 years old. That's just bad hands

Game changing play

[Ronnie_B]

and a TD unfortunately, in my opinion

I didn't even hear why they were reviewing it, it might be for the TD.

[ScarletDave]

Too bad. Rust or whatever you want to call it. But you’re a D1 player you drop a wide open gift, rare sight. Clearly it’s gonna be up to the Offense

[KnightFan]

Maybe we should have kept Robb Smith a little longer

Defense couldn’t be any worse..

[sct1111]

Defense just not making the plays needed to win right now.

[BillyC80]

Dropped INT is an absolute killer. Can’t pull an upset without making gimme plays like that.

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

and a TD unfortunately, in my opinion

Yep

that dropped INT was HUGE
