Be careful here bac2therac . Being triggered must be a real thing .Already several good threads shutdown because actual good content was being discussed. Sad but expected …Remember there is ONLY one side to the narrative

I'm wondering how our high schools and middle schools are going to be able to wrestle and play basketball. I really hope baseball isn't pushed back again this year.

Another ******** abbreviated season in the cards for high school hoopers.

Its terrible, honestly

Though from first hand knowledge many teams (and coaches) have started to keep kids "head cold version" quiet, they don't tell the school, make something up for few days then back into court. Everybody has had enough.

326 k vs. 500 k Just let that number sink in for a moment. And that 500 k is still rising rapidly .

I have the virus right now. On day 2 of symptoms, its mild. Wouldn’t call it a cold, more like a generic bug. Had something almost identical to this in fall 2019.

If I was a player I’d probably be able to give 1/3rd quality minutes right now. Full energy, but legs are sore on and off. Day one I had an elevated resting heart rate (not uncommon when I have a mild fever/virus) and probably wouldn’t have played. For me flu is very rare but hit much harder and faster. Makes you respect the guys who have career performances with a 102 degree fever.

just posting for those who claim you could play through it.

There was people hiding covid infections last year too! My boys went virtual again during baseball season so they wouldn't have to quarantine if someone in class got sick.

Interesting with the heart rate. When I had Lyme for a week my resting heart rate (which is almost a constant) was 10 bpm higher than normal.

It’s a natural reaction to your body fighting infection. My BPM tends to vary a lot, but when I fight a virus it can be 10-25 BPM above normal, especially if my temp is up.

Not sure how my Garmin calculates resting heart rate. I am sitting in a chair doing nothing and my heart rate is 11 higher than what garmin says is my normal resting heart rate. Maybe heart rate goes a bit lower when sleeping

Four years ago I had a series of 8 cardiac tests (conclusion of the cardiac Doc was no problems other than the PVC's that have been there for 40 years.) Learned that sleeping HR is lower than resting HR by 8 to 11 bpm. Mine dropped to 26bpm while sleeping. Bizarre.

Will continue to get 440 hours/year workouts ftw.

That's exactly my differential.

Looks like I am finishing the year with 543.9 miles run.
I am at 4,232,916 steps.
