Can anyone explain why they couldn't play the game when originally scheduled rather than reschedule it less than 24 hours later?

likely because they wanted to test the checking of documentation during the daylight and not on night, not that I expect more than half full rac at these two games

Agreed, but I guess it has to do with who tested positive what day and how many players are available at what time of day kind of thing after 14 day quarantine. Positives came down Dec 14th? 15th? 16th? 17th? pushing back the Maine game Dec 29th to 30th and the planned rescheduled Rider into CCSU on Dec 31st to Jan 1st back a day and still allowing 2 days prep for U of Michigan home game. If some players aren't available for the Maine game will be your answer if that's the case.
