My rotoworld NHL feed is littered with guys being put on NHL COVID list......pissed none are from this week's opponents team.

Kuzentsov just added to the list. 1/3 of my team is on the COVId list.

I think you absolutely have to factor ignorant people into a lot of decision making.

Including the ones who are supposedly not ignorant. Like the socialists who operate

Remember the more a virus preads, the greater the chances of a mutation and the next mutation might be a killer

Data is showing it is more contagious. Data is also showing it is less severe. And your last sentence is a little offer. Usually as a virus spreads and mutates it becomes less severe overtime because in order to survive it needs to finds hosts that it can live in and doesnt kill. Omnicron may be the best thing that has happened to those who are afraid of their shadow

You also come off as extremely self-centered - you, a healthy 30yr old, may still clog up hospital beds. And yes you, a healthy 30yr old, overwhelmingly may not die but also run the risk of long COVID. Thanks, doc.

I don’t think an intelligent person would characterize the senior people at major universities as “ignorant”. In fact, it would be ignorant to think people like that would fall under the definition of ignorant.

Maybe they are closed minded and arrogant, that would be a matter of opinion. Highly educated people are not ignorant. The terms are mutually exclusive.

Enlighten me… I can tell you the prestige of Harvard and Princeton is doing just fine.

The average person isn’t sitting at home thinking, man Harvard is going downhill fast, I’ll send my kids to Liberty instead.

My family is, not Harvard or liberty specifically but we are having that discussion. My daughter is being recruited by a few Ivy’s as well as some “lesser” schools down south. Quality of life at school, as well as, the schools direction are definitely being weighed.

Id rather go to trade school than go to the majority of ivy’s, I think it provides a better ROI at this point. A girl I went to high school with who went to columbia is a barista lol, one who went to upenn has taken off the past 3 years to “pursue music” and one kid I went to Hs with who went to princeton with has a nice banking job but one that anyone who goes to RU can get

If that's true, then how did the highly educated people in the administration
miss the fact that it might be a bad idea to declare war on our energy industry
at a time when we were trying to recover economically? Pretty ignorant decision
