After this thread is over I’m going to tally up the average prediction in the Purdue thread vs the average one in this thread. I feel the average Purdue prediction had us losing by like 25, the average one here will probably have us winning by 10

Gonna be hard to get back up for this game after the Prayer in Piscataway. And SHU is really good.

If we keep it close in the first half we’ll have a chance, because a let down would be understandable after the incredible high of beating the number 1 team in the country.

We have enough talent to compete, and our defense should keep it close if we defend the arc well. As always it will be a question of making shots.

My head tells me SHU should win, but my heart won’t let me go there.

RU wins 69-67.

Im worried that the flu carryover will prevent this from being a 12-14 point win so I’m being conservative here 😎

After watching this team 9 games in - there is no way to predict what they will do. As I see it, predicting anything between a 20 point RU win and a 20 point RU loss Is about as close as you can get to accurate. I just hope we come out on the road with the same intensity and energy and we shoot as well as we did Thursday. Make it a game worth watching.

It all comes down to which team will hit open shots.

Rutgers can definitely win if they do and if Cliff stays out of foul trouble.

Coming in to tonight’s game, Seton Hall has shot the ball better so far this season.

Rhoden and Harper are the two alpha dogs that can put up big points for each team.

How the role players and supporting cast shoot will decide the game.

I don’t think either team has a big advantage underneath the basket or in the paint.

Will Geo play and at what strength is huge.
Obiago is out injured and that should help Cliff.

If Samuel or Harris get hot for SHU that will spell trouble for Rutgers.

Rutgers will have to play with composure , the student section will be hostile tonight.

Hopefully the officials let them play
SHU has more depth.

A lot is on the line tonight.
Rutgers can’t come out flat like they did at Illinois. Keep it close and anything can happen in a rivalry game.

This. It's why I don't usually predict game outcomes.

to me the most important thing to see in the game is not whether Rutgers wins or not, its whether they compete and play with energy and confidence. Right now its hard to gauge where this team and program is at. I do not need to see a win to have more confidence going forward, I need to see more of the same I saw vs Clemson and Purdue and less of what I saw vs Lafayette and UMass

This will be Rutgers fourth road game and to have a successful season they better start winning in hostile arenas.

All we can hope for is the same intensity they show at home.

SH beat a way over rated Texas team by 4 at home. I'm sure they'll try to out muscle us the way Illinois did but they're not Illinois.
