I was at the SHU-Texas game tonight and it was an electric atmosphere as was the RAC. I wonder how big of an impact the season ticket sales (I think there are over 8000 season tickets this year and I think they did a presale for season ticket holders for the upcoming game) by the Hall will have on the game. I know there were only a few public single game tickets available for Sunday’s game and there are not many resale tickets available. Both teams’ wins tonight are huge but I wonder if it’s too late in the game for many RU fans to make it to the Prudential Center. It will be interesting to see if as many RU fans can get in as have been in past years, it seems like.

Bringing one of my long time friends to sit center court, below the 20th row. His son graduated SHU four years ago and is getting married in March. My buddy is one of the annoying SHU fans who insist their FB team is undefeated. Should be a great time.

too bad RU lost those 3 bad games, 2 on buzzer beating 3s....if RU was 8-1 or 7-2 entering the game, would add more juice...

regardless, hope this win turns the tide for RU, and we can make some hay in the B1G....have to finish above .500 in B1G to have a chance...

Pressure is on SHU again, they're usually the heavy home favorites and RU has very little to lose, coming off this type of win....RU can play loose and I think Obiagu rolled an ankle in the 1st half, so if he's limited or out, the lanes and paint will be a little easier to navigate.

SHU should be around a 9 point favorite....

If anything I think this win lessened the pressure on SHU. A loss wouldn't look nearly as bad on their resume now and if there was a chance of the Hall sleeping on RU, this just woke them up. Should be a great game.

It’s a shame SHU never opened the top up for this one.

Although we’ve had a rough start, this win vs. Purdue coupled with SHU’s start could have really made for insane atmosphere, even for a Sunday night. This W would have pushed a few thousand RU fans to buy tickets imo.

Why the hell wouldn’t they?

They didn’t want Rutgers fans gobbling up seats. The past couple games at Prudential there was probably around 25-30% Rutgers fans in the lower bowl. I bought 20 tickets straight through SHU last game there.

This year they never released the tickets to this game to the general public (other than the limited supply through Ticketmaster at crazy prices).

There probably won’t be more than 5-10% Rutgers fans this year unfortunately (due to bad start and no access to tickets).
