The team suffers back to back heart breaking losses to trash teams and I’m a clown because I’m negative. Lol okay. My bad for not being excited about a team on a 3 game losing streak to DePaul, Umass, and Lafayette. Yes, I’m just the worst type of fan. The win makes those losses sting even more. Glad to see they finally showed up. Hate to break it to you, but it’s gonna be too little too late.
Can’t believe Pike was going to redshirt Miller. He’s as good as advertised on the defensive end. Yet, he’s been riding the bench on a team that hast played a lick of defense the first 6 games.

Well then, maybe Pike and RU should cancel the rest of the season. Hell, fire Pike and you should take over since you seem to have it all figured out.

You didnt praise them in this thread after they won. You expected a loss and when they ended up playing well and beating Clemson, you doubled down by bashing them for previous losses.

Didn’t praise them that game. No. It’s one win. I need more than one good game out of 7. And yeah I doubled down, because I’m still ticked off about it. You can’t show up 1 time in 7 games and expect a pat on the back.
I’ve praised them a ton last year.
I praised field hockey, football, Womens soccer, wrestling, lacrosse, etc. I love Rutgers athletics. Sorry, I’m still pisssd about the loss to Lafayette. Excuse me if that makes me a bad fan. I care and I care a lot.

You're entitled to follow and root for a team however you want. On a fan forum, others are equally entitled to react to constant negativity.

I too love RU Athletics - but from my own perspective, constantly being angry of ticked off about sports/teams/games that have already happened and are out of my control seems like it would be pretty miserable. Perhaps I have too much going on elsewhere right now to focus on the losses. RU lost those games, there is nothing anyone can do to change that, and nothing that we as fans can do to correct the team's mistakes going forward. One thing we can control is our own rooting interest level and the impact it may have on those around us (positive/negative/buzz/excitement/indifference etc).

If you didn’t praise them for the win, then don’t say you praise them after they win! It’s not rocket science. You bash when they lose and you shut up when they win. That is a sign of a horrible fan!

I praise them when they win. I praised them all last year and after the tournament win last year. We’re 4-3. Nothing to write home about. Put it together for more than one game and I’ll clap for them
