This team has no identity or personality. I hated seeing JY and Eugene leave us, but I have to admit that they brought personality and energy and that can be infectious. (Corey too) Whether it’s JY dancing around or Eugene flexing/shrugging, you can tell they were having fun. Geo and Ron don’t generate their own energy. If things are struggling, they fall into a hole, trying to force things too much. Mawot brought some energy after that pass for Cliff’s dunk. If can develop into Eugene’s late skillset, maybe it’ll get us going a little bit. Maybe…

Seems like this team never practiced....cannot believe you can miss that many open shots.

Harper seems to have a back issue which didn't help
I hate to ask given he's one of the lone bright spots, but are we sure it's the back? He looks to be breathing heavily quite often.

Harper is averaging a double double through 5 games, he's not the problem.
Maybe, but if he gets an offer from NBA, it's only because of the bloodline. He can get hot at times, but so what. Look how many of these kids on completely unknown bball squads can do the same thing. Who cares? He's not a baller like JY. Pike should have done everything he could to keep JY, but instead he seemed happy to let him walk a second after last season ended.

Neither of them act like leaders. It's no coincidence our best players the last few years have all transferred. They probably couldn't stand their negativity.

Guys look like they don’t want to be here anymore. What happened to the team that was so easy to root for
Guys look like they don’t want to be here anymore.

i don’t know about that. I personally measure things by defensive effort and I saw a team working very hard on d. Lafayette was moving all the time in offense and the RU defense was working very hard to work over picks, switching, etc.. I had no issue with the d.

the offense…. painful. Just painful to watch. Mind-boggling really. I just see a team that has ZERO idea what to do on offense - and THAT is on the coaches.

True on offense but he has hurt the team on defense multiple times including the game winner.
His shooting has been devastatingly bad, poor foul shooting as well and awful effort on D. Uncontested rebounds look good for a double double but are fool’s gold. All American candidate can’t go for 4 for 14 against Lafayette.
