2. I moved to Philadelphia and didn't renew my season tickets so I saved money and wasn't there in person.

4. I’ll be able to move into the 100s next year
How about this year - I might know some tix in 102 up for sale at about half price, lol.

Ok, all kidding aside, I've kept hoping that maybe we'd snap out of it, but no, after this loss against a bad Lafayette team, the reality has really sunk in that we just suck, especially at shooting (and not so good at rebounding, defense and ball movement either). So sad. I can’t imagine having many wins, especially without Geo - if it's a hammy he's out for at least a month. Pike whiffing on the class from two years ago and this past year (other than Cliff and maybe Jones) and only getting one good transfer this year (Hyatt) just killed the positive momentum we had from the last 2 years.

And here's what I want to know the most. How the hell do we not have a big man like Lafayette’s 7’1” center, who could be a great backup for Cliff (and imagine the two of them on the floor together at times) – and how come we don’t have a guard like that kid from NJIT who was really quick and could hit treys? Are you telling me they wouldn’t have come to RU over these places? Yes, losing JY and Myles really sucked, but we couldn't have done better than we did from the portal coming off 2 great years in a row? Unless Pike can work some miracles really fast this season is toast.

After graduating players and the likely mass exodus, Pike is gonna have a lot of starter minutes to sell.

I’m already too invested in this season. Fortunately got rid of most of my OOC extras before the season started.

I’m not going to call it for a while unless there’s a total meltdown OOC but they definitely need to turn it around now. I don’t know if we’re seeing T.J. Thompson’s influence on the offense or what, but we can’t keep launching 3s and settling for awful shots that kill momentum every game. Just can’t do it. Get in the paint and be physical.

Worst case, we get to see if we can use the transfer portal to our benefit. Based on the threads here tonight, we’ll have plenty of minutes next year when everyone graduates, transfers out, or moves down a level.

The reality is that if we just shot a "below average (for most teams)" 8-26 from trey (31%) we win by 10+ and even one more three and we likely win. 4-26? Who the hell shoots 4-26 from three (and only gets 10 offensive boards on 40 missed shots and 5-6 missed FTs that led to rebound chances)? I simply refuse to believe we're actually that bad at shooting threes, although we'll see a lot of zone until we can prove otherwise.

I think they had more air balls than makes from 3 tonight. I remember at least 3

We don’t have a quick, low dribble guard with a good handle like most D-3 teams have.
Can you imagine attempting to complete in the B1G without a fast twitch point guard with a handle

What makes it worse IMO is all the stuff from Pike about this being his best team yet. If he believed that, boy he must be wondering what the heck is going on. If he didn't believe it, way to overinflate the team egos and fan expectations.

If this doesn't improve, it will be like the Jordan years where I check the score midgame and decide if it is worth watching. The last few years, i saw almost every minute of every game. It is both sad and maddening.

The best team line was all about selling tickets

First game ever I'm honestly glad we lost. We had no business winning that game as Lafayette was better prepared and executed better.

Gonna get worse before it gets better with this roster.

I can't imagine not having recruited such a guard - or was Miller supposed to be that guard?

near the end I was thinking they need to lose this game. If they have any self pride at all they need a kick in the onions like this

I am not driving an hour to watch this. If they start playing better maybe but i don’t see it. We are slow as ****. We get no points in transition. Maybe this team has the flu. Our guys were gassed in the first half ready. Fouling a 3 point jump shooter 3 times. Wtf.

I'm already there after tonight. Really disappointing and sad. I was thinking of going to a bunch of games again this year too. But no plans or desire to go at all as of now.

the biggest positive is much more free time, dont need to spend time watching games or on message boards.

I want to know how accurate were the reports about Rutgers performance against Villanova and Uconn in scrimmages. It gave fans a false belief that this team was going to be special.
