They hung with Duke for most of the first half the other night. Unless we wake up it won't be a blowout. RU 68 Lafayette 54

One thing noteworthy....

I have seen in multiple places over the past few days Pike saying "You can't defend the free throw line."

Obviously it is a true statement, however I think it tells you were his mind is at. I think/hope we see more at the defensive end. I hope/think this applies from player 1 to player 12.

If you are in the freejaden camp this might actually be a sign that he acknowledges the D issue is not just a player or 2. Pike doesn't have a big dog house. You may see slates clean, but no tolerance for bad D going forward.

Just a hunch.

BTW these game score predictions are crazy. We had people saying we were going to be 24-8 2 weeks ago and now the majority think we will win by less than 10 at home to Lafayette. Do people who really thought this team would be that good suddenly think we are that bad?

Lafayette SHOULD be a cakewalk. I think that, despite the loss to DePaul, the team might have gained some confidence on offense with the late flurry. We finally dominate from start to finish.

Just saw a line that has us favored by 19.5 pts. We need to live up to that and make this a beatdown. We let one get away against DePaul. I think we respond tonight.

Well then Pike deserves his criticism
Is it possible that the players you want to see more of would make us worse or just aren’t as good as what people thought they would be.

pike wants to win. What motive would he have of playing inferior players

We arent going to win greenlighting a 4-25 shoot

We are playing our 4th cupcake. We should be working in bench players

The failure collectively by our upperclass starters and lack of leadership overall is burying development

At the end of the season, it's going to be interesting to see our record as a function of Cliff's playing time. When he's in the game, we can compete with anybody. When he's out, we're not good. Losing Young to the portal hurt, but losing Johnson is proving to be a major problem.

This is about as cupcakee as you get

I’ll lose faith in humanity if this gets sugarcoated in the press conference as a team we were worried about looking at the film.

this is a 300 team

This game is viewed as an easy game to Boston U.

Old enough to remember when Lafayette was a big game for us. Saw them at the Barn when I think they had Tracy Tripucka.
