We couldn't score last year either. However, they were better than this team so far this year at least.

Why not both?

I didn't watch but it sounds like Jones needs more minutes, as he is our best shooter. The full non conference is helpful to shake out the rotations this year. Can't have two or three guys on the floor that are not scoring threats for long stretches.

Jones is going to be really good for us. We need more of the offense to run through him.

The chemistry for this team isn't even built yet. They just have an understanding. We'll see as the season goes along and the roles get defined - what we really have. Im starting to think we might end up pretty good

The performance of McConnell ans Mulcahy has been disappointing,Jones needs to start..The lack of bench scoring compounds the lack of scoring from the starters.

When Paul was out for the last 10 minutes the team moved the ball much better .Start Jones, let PM come off the bench.
I could get behind this even though Jones is still young. We will need a guard quicker than Paul to break down defenses, and the added athleticism of Jones enables him to get to the rim more readily. It would be helpful if Jones got his feet more wet in these early-season matchups so he can contribute more when conference play starts.

Sg Caleb? That kid can’t hit a brick wall from 5’ away with a basketball right now.

Myles' long outlets off strong boards and blocks are greatly missed... that rocket start last year was full of that.

PG Jalen Miller (send a message)
SG Geo (last chance to actually shoot the ball as a starter)
SF Hyatt (earned it)
Ron and Cliff (best we have right now)

PM and Caleb off bench for Geo and Jalen as needed.. even if Jalen does not come back in at all after first sub... we'd soon see if he is out of his depth as a frosh.

Agee, Jones, Mag, Palmquist, Reiber sub in as needed.. Jones and Mag get first shot.. and when Palmquist comes in we best try to get him open 3 attempts and find out if he can be counted on for that... give him 2 games to show what he has. He was supposed to lights-out shooter.. have not seen it yet.
