Please tell me the possible recruits list was just not completed, lol. Also, doesn't SeaBass have an ORS available?

For the purposes of the chart, technically everyone on the roster has an ORS available. Probably not worth noting.

I don't know why people are sleeping on Angelo. He had a great turnout at the BIG10 tournament before getting the concussion. I think he took his lumps last season and will know what to expect with a BIG10 schedule

Angelo is good and dangerous but a little bit more Of an All or Nothing type of wrestler, but Vulakh is viewed as a blue chip. Let’s see how it plays out.

If Angelo didn’t hit his lateral drop in a match, he probably lost. He was only a freshman so there’s still plenty of room to improve but Vulakh has more potential to help Rutgers take the next step. Doesn’t mean he will, but he’s got significantly more potential.

If who beats Santos? Donner is two weight classes above where Santos is listed.

Does Turley not have a chance against Grello? And has the McDermott hype softened?

165 is going to be a problem long term unless Kanniard is going up there otherwise we are putting our eggs in the Weaver, White, Cetta bucket (but all of those guys need to put on some decent weight so it's not a lock) unless they are hoping to bring in a transfer. Hopefully that gets figured out soon.

Lots of talent above there already within the program and with Soldano coming on board in a few years.

Zach Firestone hanging his shoes up. Not exactly a surprise, but I expect a few more to retire.

I see Zack Ryder was added as a recruiting target. Will his teammate, PJ Duke, also be a target?

I removed Casale from the spreadsheet approximately June 1st when his name appeared in the transfer portal. I have no inside information and I am merely speculating that he is no longer on the roster. Once the 2024-2025 roster appears on Scarletkights.com I will make sure the spreadsheet is accurate.

We’ve heard from some people that he is back with the team and training again but whether that continues is TBD

Gonna have to make some cuts to be roster compliant. Going to be hard for guys like DiStefano and Villani to make the team with the new roster limits. Guessing some guys will be asked to take gap years.

plcoolg: Could you somehow show the seniors that are graduating versus those with additional eligibility?
Unfortunately, I don't have access to this info. The only publicly available information comes from scarletknights.com which is currently listing the wrestlers by their academic year, not by whether they will have additional eligibility or whether they are set to graduate.

Turley and Slav are both done . Everyone else is back . O'Neill is one who I'm not sure about. He has the potential for a medical but I doubt he will use it.

plcoolg_rivals: Thanks for updating the chart. You can remove Hermes and Smith, as both have committed to new schools. Maybe Knox can be moved into the Frosh position since he's already graduated.

plcoolg_rivals: Once again, thanks for keeping this chart current. I noticed that the Rutgers Roster has been updated. At least one name is missing, two or three new names are not in the chart, and several weight class changes. Since all the incoming guys are on the roster, I think it's time to include them in the chart.

Scarletknights.com is still listing SCW at 184 and Chapman at 174. I will make the edit to the spreadsheet once they re-list the weights. BTW, I think that the NCAA schools should start listing their athletes by the amount of years that they have been in school. For example, Conner Harer would be listed as a "Third Year" etc. The moniker of "red shirt sophomore" is descriptive but with the new rules of 5 years to play 5, I think labelling the athletes by the years in school makes more sense.

They’ll probably just call a kid in his 5th year a grad/5th year senior and keep the freshman, soph, junior, senior titles for the first four years.
