2 missed PI's
Extra one second on the clock
The "fumble"

Refs were god awful and impacted the game way more than they should have.

Sorry, they should not bail out an offense whose only objective is to throw up for grabs and hope for a flag. You need to earn the call. We aren’t actually trying to complete those passes as much as we are trying to bait the refs to give us the call.

I was thinking there was an obvious bias.. calling very brief holds on us and nothing of note on MSU... then again.. I saw bad calls both ways. Could it be a crew of biased refs AND incompetent refs?

But.. as others often point out.. refs were not the reason we lost.

If not for the refs
If not for The fans coming in late after kick off
If not for all the empty seats
If not for everything else
We would be undefeated
you forgot one

If not for the score

We would be undefeated

You don't defeat being held by bitching to or about officials. You fight through it and REFUSE to be held. Anybody who has been successful playing or coaching defense will know that. There are many ways to avoid it. If you can't, you chop it off and rip yourself away. You're ALLOWED to use your hands so DO it! Be damned if anybody was ever holding me as a player. Never happened. That's how I was coached. Bitching is not a skill needed on a football field.

After watching B!G games live for a few years and specifically watching line play, I see a ton of holding in the league, by every team, in every game. And it seems like more than in other leagues.
For the most part the refs appear to let it go quite a bit. For whatever reason on Sauturday, it looked as if we were singled out. Those are the breaks. But it is not why we lost.

The blatant holding on some of their runs which wasn't called was so egregious. When you see defenders getting turned around like what happened on several occasions, how can you not flag that for holding?

This.
And watching the replay of the Game saw a major holding on Walker’s 96 yard TD run.
#7 Longerbeam was held by #1 on MSU right in front of the MSU bench. He had a fistful of Longerbeam’s jersey and held on for quite sometime. No call. Total BS . Otherwise we make the tackle around the 40 yard line of MSU.

The "late hit" on Panasiuk from Michigan State was one of the worst calls of the year, and gave you points. I agree that the officials weren't good, but fans only remember calls that go against them
That was called soon after the missed targeting call. Make up city on that one.

It's not to say we'd have won, but we were down one score when that missed hold happened midway through the third Q that gave them the TD...it definitely changed the trajectory of the game. When you consider MSU never got into the red zone from close range, it really makes you think what could have been.
