Starters’ MINUTES:
- Geo
- Ron
- Mulcahy
- Cliff
- McConnell
- Hyatt
- Jones

Key Backup Minutes:
- Agee
- Mag
- Miller

Deep Reserves/situational/foul trouble
- Reiber
- Palmquist
I agree with this except
I think Pike stick with 8 man rotation, add Mag
9-11 Agee or Reiber, Miller, Reiber or Agee
12-13 Palmquist, Nathan

I think Caleb will start over Hyatt to begin season. However, depending on the effectiveness of the second unit, I can see Caleb sliding over to the bench. I’d like to see him off the bench because he would bring so much energy, toughness and experience to the unit. He’s a team first guy and would accept that role and could actually play starter minutes off the bench.

Hyatt on the bench means Ron is playing a lot at the 4. And I thought that wasn’t the plan. . Mulcahy baker Hyatt harper Cliff as starters. Jones McConnell mag the top three reserves. If Agee is indeed Shaq Carter or better than he gets time as well. Miller is a depth piece for now who will get to play against the cupcakes. Rieber probably plays five mins a game. Nothing big coming out on Palmquist during camp so he’s not going to play.

I don’t think position assignments are going to be a big factor in determining who plays on this team. It was a factor last year because after Mag’s early injury we had a shortage of wings period. The 3 and 4 will be interchangeable wing slots with coverage and offensive play calling based on game day match ups.

It will come down to......
Can you take and make the open 3?
What does our rebounding look like, does it need help? If so, do you help it?
What does our defense look like? Does it need help, if so, can you help it?
Are you more than a taker of open shots, are you an efficient scorer?

Remember though that Harper will never play in the NBA as a four. I’m sure pike - no matter what he says - will play harper at the three a lot

The thing is, he really CAN'T just play an 8-man rotation the way you're suggesting, because we need a backup Center in the rotation. Cliff will only play 25 mpg, so Agee (with Reiber in reserve) will HAVE to play 15 mpg.

Assuming Caleb starts, I see the bench rotation being Hyatt, Jones, Agee, and Mag, with Miller getting spot minutes here and there as needed, and, like I said, Reiber and Palmquist being deep reserves.

Disagree. You really think Coach thinks this way? More importantly, you think Harper is going to make an NBA team? Unless he becomes a knock down 3 point shooter, I don't see what else he would bring to an NBA team.
