Ok. So now this thread has gone off the rails the other way where people who admitted they were wrong are being bashed since they haven’t debased themselves enough or publicly flagellated themselves with enough intensity.

Anyone making personal assessments of others and calling others out for moral failings is never acceptable no matter from where you are coming. It makes this board hard to read sometimes, and please don’t tell me one side is worse than the other because it just isn’t true and it doesn’t matter even if it was.

People lose their moral high ground when they demand that others recognize that they sit upon it. And please don’t point to the irony in this message because I’ve never claimed I’m better or worse than anyone else on this board and have never attacked anyone personally.

Not sure about all that morality stuff, but I agree that people should do their flagellation privately. Now that the game is off, everybody will have plenty of time for that sort of adult fun.

Oh dear lord just stop already please.

My heart goes out to OP. Imagine living your life in fear like that. We had some rain the day before a football game let’s cancel it

we have a clear leader in worst post of the year

If they aren’t playing in the game we should be fine
These posts are not aging well, LOL.

Just calm down and ignore people you disagree with. Some of you people with internet muscles and a proclivity to fight are sad and funny at the same time. It's just one person's opinion who lives in an area that was not heavily impacted by the storm. Don't get so triggered and angry.
When a moron post something moronic, it deserves to be pointed out! Maybe tell them to not post stupid **** in the first place and we won’t have a problem!

This would be a great opportunity for the crew teams to generate NIL revenue by rowing the fans to the game.
There’s a very high likelihood the rowing team’s Boathouse and equipment is severely damaged if not floating out to Perth Amboy by now.

Don't think anyone could have imagined this, particularly people living down the shore. We saw little rain, and it was hard for us to believe things could be this bad.

This is NJ. Families living in this state go to war over who makes the best chili.

The bickering on this forum is just Jersey love. No biggie.

Seriously, if my family had made some of the sarcastic, condescending remarks seen early in this thread toward me, and been proven so, so, so wrong, I'd make fun of them forever. Relentlessly. And Id expect nothing less in return for a vice versa.

Overconfident message board posters are fair game, especially the weird socal jackass who dove off the deep end, only to get smashed in the face by raging flood waters.

Agreed. This thread is fantastic. Apologies and showing remorse does not correct being spectacularly wrong.

This is 100 percent correct.

Absolutely no doubt in my mind - if we still had the game tonight, you’d be able to boat there. We could tie the craft together and have a tailgate flotilla.
