All challenges, yep, although the Raritan only impacts River Road and 18 (from a game perspective, not the damage to towns that will see flooding) which would suck but can be worked around - with enough people. The Stadium is well above the Raritan flood plain, so as long as the pumps are working the field should be fine.I think one of the problems that'd need to be solved is how to get all the necessary detours mapped out, then marked out w/signage, so people unfamiliar with the area can get to their lots along routes they've never travelled. I actually think the lots are probably fine, for the most part. Getting people to the lots, and staffing the lots with EMTs and cops and so forth, looks like it's the biggest problem at the moment.
And also there's the uncertainty about how bad things will get w/the Raritan. It's bad already from photos we've seen. Just gonna get worse as the day progresses.
or just move it - I like to think RU would have priority...Cancel it
Looks like you’re staying home too.I think its best if some of you stay home even if they do have a game. Don't want anyone upset

Yea tell them to go scratch ***, play it at your high school field. Rutgers is not losing money over high school games.Cancel it
By my estimations the HS games have already been postponed/canceled or moved..Mentioned a couple of times earlier in this thread,
A lot of towns won’t be playing high school sports for a while.for everyone thinking play this weekend, there is a big HS football tournament at the stadium this weekend I believe???
I can't see students being possible. Not with the river looking like that.Absolutely zero chance we play tonight with fans, other than maybe students
I would think there are other options they could use in less impacted areas as well. Montclair St. up North, TCNJ in Central, Rowan in the South. Depending on which teams playing. ??Yea tell them to go scratch ***, play it at your high school field. Rutgers is not losing money over high school games.
I don’t run my sprinklers when we’ve had or expect an inch of rain in a week. You responded in another post to another poster and I said that browning could have been from not enough water earlier in the summer or fungus.are you sprinklers still running, the lawn can never get too high
Should have just started with these shots to get the answer. Thanks for sharing.
My sprinkler was off since first week of July.I don’t run my sprinklers when we’ve had or expect an inch of rain in a week. You responded in another post to another poster and I said that browning could have been from not enough water earlier in the summer or fungus.

Hey man, don't live your life in fear, you can easily rent a powerboat and keep the game on as scheduled.River and Landing:

Dag. Do they expect the river to abate that much even by Saturday?River and Landing:

Takes a lot to get you to "talk" that way. But the poor behavior of some of the respondents to the OP did it for you.Game ppd to Saturday.
lots of idiots in this thread…and that’s putting it nicely,
It's as if people are scared to swim these days.Hey man, don't live your life in fear, you can easily rent a powerboat and keep the game on as scheduled.
I didn't even see that car.wow, wonder who's car that is. Could have had a Rowing Event as a warm-up to the game.
I don't understand where exactly this is. Can you be a little more specific?River and Landing:

This thread is a great display of people who are over confident in their decision making skills without having any facts. Oh and people just being a-holes. See you all Saturday!

I would say so. It's expected to crest early this afternoon and then begin receding. You'll have roughly 42 hours before the lots open for a 12pm kickoff. You still may have some trapped standing water but the river willl be receded by then.Dag. Do they expect the river to abate that much even by Saturday?
