Would not have thought he'd get a B1G offer. I realize our staff studies this much more in depth but coming off our best season in years I would have expected Pike to be reaching for the stars more.

Doesn't mean it's committable. Could be a thing where if he blows up (relatively speaking) Pikiell reminds him who his first big offer was from and if he doesn't then Pikiell tells him sorry we don't have a spot for you.

Actually this player did very well in a matchup with the #1 player in the state/country, DJ Wagner out of Camden.....Lenape played with Simpson and his game tape vs Wagner was legitimate. He is absolute definite prospect based on what I watched this AM, after digging into the details a little more. I would put him at or higher than the guard offers in place for Wimborne, Shtolzberg and Chas Kelley and definitely someone to watch....

As a guy who thinks the recruiting rankings and offer lists are generally important... I agree with this post and the rankings will take months to be meaningful. Coaches haven't done in person scouting in a long time and now they're seeing who can actually play vs. who can look good on tape.

You don't see too many P5 offers going out to South Jersey kids in basketball outside of Camden. Lenape is a top tier public school in South Jersey so wondering if this kid stays put his senior year there or tries to maybe transfer to a prep school in Philly or something to get more top offers.
