Woodson & Co are also doing a better job of recruiting than I expected. They already have a 5 and a 4 star coming in and their stud big man is returning.

As a top of the line major basketball school for high school kids, they have fallen off the map. On the court they are nowhere near what they used to be. Seems like all the schools around them, Purdue, Ohio State, Butler, Louisville, Kentucky, Michigan State, Michigan have surpassed them. It has been a longgg time since the days of Bobby Knight. This might be their last chance. Would really be happy if we could get the year after year Success that Purdue has achieved.

Indiana, like a lot of "blue bloods", has not found value in recruiting the grinder that is hungry and motivated to just play defense and focus on rebounding. Purdue consistently will continue to hammer Indiana, because they have figured out that you need roles for dedicated players who are team first.

All of these 4 and 5 star kids has always been the standard at Indiana, they aren't recruiting any better or worse than most years.

IU did not pay Millers buy out. Two annonymous donors paid his 10.35 million dollar buyout.
Not sure the distinction is relevant.
That's like saying Oregon is broke because all their money comes from Phil Knight.
