Football Spring game moved to May 20th

My guess is that if any, they only allow 3250 fans. Here is my thinking:

For the Spring game, they usually only open the lower level on one sideline of the stadium. Likely because then they only have to open the bathrooms and concessions in that area of the stadium and then provide staff/ security & clean up in that section. I don’t think that they will change that for this game. So if the state is only allowing 25% capacity, RU will only be allowed 25% of the available seating in that area. If they only make available the lower sideline seats… I think that amounts to approx. 13,000 seats. ( Rough calculations: 13K each lower sideline, 10K each lower end zone and 10K total in upper deck = 56K total) So 25% of the 13K is 3,250.


RU is happy , and probably lobbied to have it on a Thursday… the demand for seats and outcry when fans cant come will be diminished .

By this reasoning have it at 1130 PM on a Tuesday night...if you’re trying to minimize attendance, go all out!!

Didn't Holloway set an attendance limit of 2,500 at SHI? I thought that's what it is for lacrosse. If so we're not getting in. Now if we went by Murphy Law it'd be just shy of 16,000, then we'd be assured of getting in being season ticket holders.

I know, but with a set attendance of 2,500 that's the last word I heard from Holloway about SHI for lacrosse there's no way in hell we're getting in. Now 16,000, we'd be home free.

Sounds about right, being on a Thursday will severely limit attendance anyway.
Don’t see any Concessions being open though.

Texas A & M and Corny (Nebra) had over 3,000 fans show up for just scheduled scrimmages, NOT the Spring game yet.

Definitely a good sign. Was down in Tallahassee for the FSU spring game 2 weekends ago, they had just under 15k in attendance (10k GA, 4K students & clubs).

Was told by multiple high ranking officials and big $$$ boosters in no uncertain terms that they’ll have full capacity & no restrictions next year on attendance & tailgating, and they don’t expect any of their southern counterparts to have restrictions either.

Masks were required but not enforced - bars & restaurants were packed and it felt good to see people living like old times again.
