Porter Moser to Oklahoma

[bac2therac]

Great hire

[JerseyShoreKnight]

Porter Moser vs Chris Beard in the OU-Texas Red River Rivalry twice a year is going to be must see TV.

[scarlet night]

I’m just glad Indiana didn’t get him.

Great hire

Don’t know this guy. Where was he previously?

[Barnaby&Neill]

Surprising news; from what I’ve read he’s a practicing catholic, from Chicago, who had already felt the sting of upgrading jobs and getting fired.

I pegged him to stay at Loyola, or at most make a local move (jobs like Marquette, DePaul, maybe Indiana)

Loyola of Chicago.

Loyola of Chicago.

Oh - I thought Sister Jean was the coach LOL

[bamrinnj706]

Both Moser and Beard are former head coaches of Arkansas Little Rock

[Mr_Twister]

Small school coach to big program. Hope Moser has more success than Shaka Smart did at Texas.

[MADHAT1]

Wish he would have stayed at LoC but when programs like Oklahoma come calling, hard to say no

As unbelievable as it may seem, both Beard and Moser are former coaches at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Moser is a good coach. That win over Illinois in the tournament was a clinic.

She's been known to weave strategy into her pregame prayers. Nothing major, basically fundamental stuff reminding them to make layups, box out. Stuff like that
