Yup. He just seems a step slower than the elite guys right now. Talent is there but hoping he turns full time into coaching. IF I had things my way in 2 years Goodall has an admin position overseeing Olympic sports, Donny takes the HC role and Ashnault slides into an assistant role with the possibility of associate HC if he shows he has coaching chops.

But that’s just me.

It’s time... and I LOVE Goody. I just think it’s the natural progression of things and allows each to excel at their skill set. Pay Goody and make him an Admin.

Hard to be anywhere near ready to compete with the elite guys when you're constantly getting surgery and rehabbing from that and other nonsurgical injuries.

I've seen this rumor floated years ago and still don't understand where it comes from. Is Goody itching to be an AD? I'd start with adding Ashnault as an assistant (yeah they need to add budget for another assistant) and have him also work with Pollard at SKWC a ton. He's not ready for an associate HC position.

completely agree which is why we need to see him on staff first. I’m just thinking long term. But it’s his life and he also seems happy working his media company with Rokfin as well.

Agreed. I'm not sure there's enough money right now in just doing that, so I'd guess he wants to also coach or be a resident athlete to supplement that income.

Wow, JO upsets Yianni 4-4 on criteria. Criteria? LMAO, freestyle is ridiculous to not have SV and additional OT. McKenna also upset Zain and looked really solid.

Freestyle criteria is so senseless. The argument for “last point wins” is that they don’t want the guy with a lead to stall and instead continue to push the pace. The problem is that if you are tied and hold the lead on criteria, theoretically you can stall all you want until you get called for passivity. The problem doesn’t change, just the situation when the problem can arise is different.

Don’t like the criteria for freestyle but like the action. Roman Greco can be tough to watch. It’s on now nbcsn

Speechless after that Dake match. Holy mother of Hell did Nolf get stomped. I would understand if Nolf just left his shoes at the center of the mat next to Frank the Tank’s after that beat down.

How so as I've read people were pleased with the coverage if they used Peacock because you can watch individual mats? NBCSN TV channel not so much as they don't focus on all of the best matches so you miss some.

There's nothing on Peacock right now... We're at the mercy of the mat on NBCSports

Father time finally caught Burroughs. Dake wins 3-2. Burroughs couldn't pull the trigger and get in on many shots, and the ones he got in on he couldn't finish.

Yeah but I hate his style right now of mostly defense and counter wrestling with almost no shots. He took 1 shot in 2 matches and earned a push out point. And I really could've done without the t-bagging episode.
