What are our chances for Davis? I really feel that Kentucky is going to recruit Wimsatt nonstop with a good chance of success even if he does commit to Rutgers.

The Athletic had an article yesterday on the best uncommitted 2022 recruits and Wimsatt was #2 on their list. They described things as still being open, but did mention how some forecasts have him going to RU and how huge that would be.

Wimsatt will definitely be facing some local heat if he doesn't commit to Kentucky. Seems like the family really likes what Rutgers offers him. He would have the opportunity to see the field early with an innovative OC calling the plays. The conundrum is that he will need to make a decision soon. Most top QBs have committed already. The worst case scenario is that he commits to RU, we stop recruiting other QBs, and then he flips late.

Well, I am not a 14 year-old girl, but I will give you my view. To me, he is saying I saw what you just did Sam Brown and I am paying attention A LOT !
Can't read too much into that kind of thing. He just did it for a recent Kentucky commit too.

Unfortunately that is just a reply to his tweet with the set of eyes. The set of eyes most definitely refers to the commitment Kentucky received today from a highly rated OT.

What set of eyes? Did he retweet on the UK OT commitment? I didn’t see that.

No the set of eyes were a reaction to your wideout commit JoJo. Wimsatt is all Rutgers and Kentucky is still in denial ain’t can’t believe Rutgers beat them for a instate kid. Funny thing is, whether Schiano was in Tennessee or Jersey, he would be cleaning up in recruiting against them lol

Well it might be happening soon. On the homepage here, where the top targets are shown, when someone moves into the first position, it usually has meant that he will be declaring soon. It just happened with Samuel Brown and this afternoon, Wimsatt switched positions with the big guy from NYC, which might be a clue that something will happen soon. The RU % of likelihood also increased by about 10%, up into the 80%+ range.

Fingers are crossed!

Although this is not one of his articles, Todd Hunt's articles are the best on RU recruiting out there. It would be foolish to ignore them, even though they appear in the SL.
I follow Todderick Hunt on Twitter. He’s a solid follow and gets you the recruiting scoop without inundating with daily minutiae or BS.

Interesting how Rivals had one guy (Dave Lackford) switch their prediction from RU to UK. Then a couple days later someone switched from UK to RU.

That Dave guy started out with UK in December. Then in March changed to RU. Now two weeks later he's back to UK.

Does he use a ouija board, tarot cards, or a crystal ball ?
